so whats the big deal? You make it sound so INSIDIOUS! So people are producing and making money and the campus actually contributes to the community's economy....and....?
@AtheismandSkepticism Do you want your food to be addictive and companies to subliminally tell you to be drones for their product? How about we put dictators in power so we can tap into their resources regardless of the human cost. How about we sell weapons to other countries and turn around and say "These countries have weapons that are comprable to ours. We need to make more weapons, Congress." You're giving in to it. We just seen how it's ruined our country in 04. Ridiculous. Skeptic?
I don't live in the US; your corrupt politicians and laws are your problem.
Skeptic means I don't believe in bullshit conspiracy theories either. Go get some evidence of malicious additives in foods or that subliminal messaging even works; then we can have a conversation.
(By evidence I mean peer reviewed articles in scientific journals, not stupid Internet videos/comments made by some ignorant fool)
@AtheismandSkepticism Dude you're an arrogant asshole. Just cause you talk tough and try to one-up everyone does not mean you are correct. You talk down to people for no reason.
I'm glad you like evidence. That's great, but you're using the concept of it to command others when they're worthy of discussion.
You have just said you have not lived here so it's obvious you wouldn't know shit about this anyway. You just stated that.
Look at the comment magog wrote above. That's how we live.
Nice video. I really enjoyed watching it. I am running a marketing campaign to start a large auto detailing chain corporation. I would really like your assistance in building this enterprise. Let me know what you think by checking out my channel. Thanks
Do schools kill creativity? If creativity was a person schools would be it's concentration camp! I think that young people are going through a creativity holocaust perpetrated by teachers especially ones who hate their jobs. Everyone who agrees this is a disgusting inconvenient truth give me a thumbs up. BTW I'm only twenty years old and I understand this.
I've taught at seven institutions now, and it depends on the college. What I've noticed is that the less money the college has (i.e., the state and community colleges), the more it relies on corporate products on campus to help make money. The trade off is that tuition is about one-third of the private universities I've taught at, who offer non-branded, local, organic food but at a cost for tuition, room, and that food that is about three times as much. Local, sustainble products aren't cheap
Slightly cynical view. I for one can see how corporate interests affect the mechanics of a university works (Starbucks on campus etc..). This however (in my experience) does not affect the education one bit. We have to put up to corporate sponsors in our day to day life and universities are no different. Just be weary of what you read and learn and be prepared to question...
It is amazing how the medical schools are influenced by the rothchilds/ rockefeller and the pharmaceutical industry. Its no wonder so many people are unhealthy and dying of cancer.

Ha! I think it all starts in Middle Schools, at the least High Schools- I can recall at least 4 Coke/Pepsi Vending machines on one side of the school alone.
i gotta say, sumthin must happen to people around our age, seem to get all revolutionary. lol, like the ages of most of the guys that actually did fight a revolution . against england. oh well i praddle on . Cool Vid. (;
Youth, naivete in part- and the fact that you've still got your innocence. You've not been indoctrinated yet. You still have the gut instinct to be free.
i still have the gut instinct to be free, but now too tired to break from the bonds. but i can dream...
when i was a kid in school "they" said it was wrong, unrealistic, to withdraw and live off the land. groping for my soul 30 years later is right, because that's the only thing that ever made sense to me, but i easily let myself be cheated out of my heart's desire.
better question where is part 3 part 4 part 5 part 6 .. you need to make a full length documentary my friend and i would love to help you with my skills as a graphic artist! your message is essential to the world , have you seen "stupid in America" a 20 20 broadcast ?

@AtheismandSkepticism Right. It's called Regulation. Dow Chemicals made Agent Orange and funded labs in the 60's on campuses.

@HoGraz Right. It's called national defense. Companies make weapons and fund weapon technologies.
It's not ideal, but it's part of reality, maybe you'd like to join us someday.

While I agree with the video in principle, it is poorly done. You need some references, a lot of your content is supposition stated as fact

Many of the facts behind this video were based on interviews I did with my teachers when I was in University.

The Naomi Klein book? A very good read, although flawed in her responses to Corporate America. I'm looking forward to reading her latest book!
