Spelman has been my number one choice since I was in fourth grade and as I continue to age I hope that I would excel farther than were I see myself at in the next five years.

I am in 10th grade now and i love love love everything that Spelman has to offer! I really cant see my self anywhere else but Spelman. I hope and pray through hard work that one day I can say I am a Spelmanite!!!!

Dont be ignorant. Of coarse there a whites allowed, other races as well. Spelman is an HBCU, and there arent many institutions that foster to the needs of black women, and women in general outside of certain areas. what time period do you think we live in?

Wow Spelman is truely an incredible school. I will be entering high school for the first time. *Freshman* I'm starting my college search early. i'm 14 now. Spelman is without a doubt my #1 school. This is my dream school. I'm going to do whatever it takes to get accepted. I know deep down in my heart this is the school for me.

Spelman has been my number one choice since the 8th grade..when i got that phone call (yes a phone call) saying that i was accepted...i cried screamed and jumped up and down...eventhough i didnt get any money, my parents knew that this is the school that i want to attend so taking out a loan for me, they didnt have a problem doing so...im very excited and greatful to have this opportunity to attend this Black Ivy League school...Spelman class of 2013

No it was not hard because I had excellent grades in school. I deserve the best at everything in life. Certainly I feel this way about others. Life is to be fulfilled at everything you want. We only live once in life! Why not make the best at it!

Present day I looked into Colleges here, for Performing Arts School. They can only offer Classical and Jazz programs. I would love a degree in Gospel, and R&B vocals. Many Blessings to Spelman College!

After high school I was accepted to Spelman College. When the letter came I nearly cried, because this has been my favorite college since I was a little girl. I decided to pursue a degree in journalism at another college. I needed to stay close to home due to my health, and helping my mother, and siblings.
