  • if god didnt waht us to eat babies he wouldnt have made them out of meat

  • Grow Hemp. The petroleum industry blocked its competition through made up lies & now the w on d's. From Hemp, which grows almost anywhere & doesn't need fertilizer but gives back to the land, you can make substitute diesel & gas fuel, plastics & good strong fabric, long lasting paper, construction material, & even more.

  • loved the way the old lady talks :)

  • The return of slave farm labor. Most likely happen.

  • @3877michael I'm with you I was thinking the same thing but it will be all of us instead of just blacks

  • @hairpeace00 I agree. White people were slaves for 1000 years. We were called surfs.

    "...or else we are buggered."

Is this not the british equivalent of 'fucked by a pedophile' aint it?

Does not compute in north america.

  • bio fuel wastes all the land get rid of it all use wind, sea and sun power. Buy local. Grow as much a s possible. Get your kids to work from young age stop them watching tv and xbox get work done.

  • The masses won't live having to live close to nature, sad, very sad.....

  • Industry does not care folks. Food will go to the highest bidder and middle class will loose out. CHECK out the Georgian Guidestones. "They" seriously want de-population and then "maintained" at 500 million.

Interesting times ahead. I saw this problem years ago, quit as a town planner and became active in organic and biodynamic food production. Wwoofing is a great place to start as is permaculture....but START!

  • We just have to stop eating! grow a bacteria that sustain our body's!

  • war is the most energy intensive fossil fuel inustry

  • 10 calories of fossiel fuel energy for every calory of food energy we produce ? Boy... how did you came to this number ? 3:20

  • its never to late remember our father you must change not the world heere old people are still working there ground afteer they reire they go back to grandfathers ways yes honor was the prayers of home today folks find it easy to say cant this is bad carma i love old peopleand folks who can cant never did anything

Your a dumbass if don't think they just copied a pasted a video clip over that computer screen.

  • So do we prepare for MadMax, Dawn of the Dead or The Road?

Oh yeah - and grow your own food if possible.

  • Very eye-opening video! Thanks very much for posting it!

  • Look at that sweet old mum and all the jolly looking English men. My goodness I wish I was alive during the time farms were farmed the old way.

Makes me cry, it does. Makes me cry.

  • I'm pretty sure it's around 7 calories burned per 1 delivered to the consumer

  • Can i recommend that people watching this video look up "small scale wheat farming". There is a fellow in England who made a video of about 10mins where he grew 25kg of wheat in his backyard then makes it into rolls. Everything from planting to cooking is shown. Very inspirational!!

  • so depressing!

  • Has anybody heard of hydrogen? Seems it's a taboo subject.

  • Too much ppl relative to farming capability (capacity) and resources to drive farming business. Malthusian end game: Starvation and wars to prune the overpopulation. WWIII is in the works.

Get guns and ammo too while securing your food supply and water supply.

  • They arn't renewable crops when it degrades the soil fertility greatly over a few gernerations time.

  • Brazil is the new world well of renewable energy crops....Fact!

  • Good work. It all starts with the individual. Grow some of your own food. Compost a little or a lot. Catch rainwater. Carpool. Buy wind energy (or a solar panel!).

We can do it if we change our lifestyles just a little bit.

  • If this video is true it means the world will be owned by the USA by 2020, because the USA has more oil than the Middle East, Russia, and South East Asia combined.

  • @kraigthorne

Check your facts, USA HAS NO OIL. In fact every other country you listed has multiple times more oil than the states. Where the hell did you get that idea?

  • @Flagstaff12

    Obviously from FOX news.

  • Thanks for making me check my facts on oil. Though the research I have done I was happy to learn that the world has about 4 trillion barrels of oil that we know about. If you want to know more about world oil search "Stanford University oil" on Youtube and you will find an informative lecture on the subject.

  • @kraigthorne

Oil in USA peaked in 1970s. You only have a very very little left in the gulf which can't be produced for less then $100/barrel.

And you are already bankrupt. 37 Million US citizens are on food stamps. Do you think they can pay the triple price?

Stupid moron. You could be one of the Bush family.

  • I can tell that you know little about the geology of the USA. In the USA we have a PROVEN reserve of over TWO TRILLION barrels of oil!!!

As far as the amount of oil in the Gulf of Mexico if you will Google it you will discover that there are new giant oil fields being found like the Tiber Prospect and the Lower Tertiary Trend that has a proven reserve of up to 15 BILLION barrels (By Steven Mufson

    Washington Post Staff Writer

    Wednesday, September 6, 2006) .

  • @kraigthorne

I have no idea where you get your numbers. Because they are complete different from anything i have seen. I trust the professionals who are doing the job for a long time.

Watch this Standford University Video instead of Glen Beck and this FOX idiots:

    watch?v=KTsYjRqPmNA

  • I gave you the facts and even a quote from one of the MOST liberal news papers in the USA. The Washington Post is so hated by some conservative talk show hosts that they will not even speak their name.

In the Green River Formation (it covers Utah, Colorado, and Wyoming) there are 1.5 TRILLION barrels of oil.

  • Thanks for letting me know about the Stanford video. I just got done watching the full hour of it and there is NOTHING in the Stanford video that disproves anything I wrote. Not only that it backs up all the facts on oil I have given.

  • The Green River formation is oil shale, meaning that a lot of it is unrecoverable and the amount of energy required to extract it is enormous. There's no way oil shale is going to be able to meet North america's oil demands. It requires massive infrastructure to bring online. Look at Alberta's tar sands. They're the largest of its kind in the world and only produces 1.25mbpd. Seeing that world demand goes up by much more than that yearly, its definately not a feasable alternative.

  • The oil is NOT unrecoverable!

I do have to say that I agree that the USA and the world NEEDS to get off oil as soon as we can!!!

  • And even then, I don't know I didn't dig in it yet but, say there is so much oil, are we supposed to be happy with it? The polluting crap that gets us going another 10 years and then we end up with the same friggin' problem....

It doens't solve the problem and it might sound harsh for you that the world where you grew up in and the standards u are used to are going to change, its just a matter of time, things that aren't infinite run out.

  • Believe it or not I agree with everything you have said. With the way technology is today there is little reason for most people to be in an office. Just think how much energy would be saved if half the people in the first world did not have to drive to work.

  • Unfortunately Tesla can't help with the NPK, Fuel just needs to get a bit tight in price for that to have a huge effect. We've seen it 2008 when NPK jumped from £125.00 per ton to £560.00 .Yes NPK can be produced from other energy sources, but another couple of fast occurring price spikes and the chemical fertilizer issue could cripple global food production very quickly and there is no simple answer, Globally we've depleted our soils down to 2% of the nutrients we had back in the 40's.

  • TESLA! fuck all this oil talk!!!!

  • A brilliant documentary. When is someone going to market a dvd of it ?

    Robin of Duddleswell

  • Hi Robin,

try contacting the permaculture magazine because they have made it into a DVD, costs about £5.00.

  • @raretown

No need for a DVD it's free on youtube. Spread the word. I have brought already at least a dozend people here - thats how virual guerilla politics works.
