@whitearab2 Do you understand what Terrorism is? or just what you are told it is? That is the problem with most people, don't accept the poliltical definition. THE IRA is not a terrorist org, Al Quida is. If you can understand the differences between the two groups you will be closer to understanding the fundamentals of terrorism and traditional warfare.

@pcgamernum1 if ur a veteran of iraq, and if u werent a pog then u know as well as i do the mentality of the average marine or soldier and how little we gave a shit about the civilians and how we dehumanized them. im not proud of that mentality but that is how we thought. whether we targeted civilians or not, our reckless attitudes that caused so many civilian deaths is inexcusable. what about ww2 when we bombed dresden? those were civilian targets, was that not terrorism either?

@whitearab2 Again do you know what terrorism is? Terrorism is NOT being uncaring about civilian casulties. Terrorism is targeting them on PURPOSE in order to cause TERROR and win through TERROR. That wasn't terrorism. you know what was? Nuking japan twice. Why? because our target was to cause fear among the japanies people. The bombing was targeting military/economic targets. Again, look into the IRA compared to Al Quida. I'm not supporting Iraq or Afghanistan, I'm saying they arn't terrorism.

IRA has detonated Car Bombs in public places to kill targets. Al Quida has detonated car bombs in public areas to case Terror.

@pcgamernum1 not sure where u got ur quote, ur well spoken and probably well read, but ive studied dresden quite a bit and ur argument is shaky at best. yes there was some military targets in dresden, however our bombs were indiscriminate and were used to inflict heavy civilian casualties in an effort to demoralize the german people. u.s/ira/al quida all kill people, innocent or not, to achieve their agenda, not to just cause "terror" and anarchy, ira is no different from al quida

@whitearab2 That's not true at all. i have studied the IRA and Al Quida. IRA does NOT do pointless terrorist attacks. Their attacks all have targets that they mean to get ride of. They often don't care about killing civilians, but that is the key difference. Al Quida often detonates VBIEDs in crowded market places JUST to cause fear. I will admit that Dresden is debatable BUT US invasion in iraq isn't. No Terror was aimed at being caused.

@pcgamernum1 The whole story is flawed, why would Al-Qaeda turn against the US if it was founded and funded by the US in the first place. Where is the evidence for Al-Qaeda existing. Where are these terrorists? America has used terrorism in Iraq and Afghanistan, it WAS the spreading of terror, which is the spreading of fear. Using depleted Uranium ammunition, using thousands of tons of bombs in civillian populated areas, sending soldiers who have no respect of the countries culture,

@ContinentalHeretic To further explain my last sentence. By act of war, I meant non-terrorist act of war. We bombed populated areas... AT military targets. Be it military or infrastructure. Our purpose in those bombs was to distroy those, not kill innocents and cause terror. Depleted Uranium penitrates TANKS and they had them. Soldiers truly had little respect for the culture, doesn't have anything to do with terrorism.

All of thos did incite fear. And there are incidents in which the US killed civillians, we suspected it but now we have proof with wikileaks.

The PURPOSE of it must be the terror, the terror must be to acheive a goal. THE US did not conduct terrorist attacks. (We have, nuking japan is a great example, the goal was fear). AND as an Intelligence Analyst I know for a fact they where behind the attacks on the US.

Where THE IRA just doesn't care about casulties of civilians their targets all have TARGETs not the civilians. Al-Qaeda influcts civilian casulties to cause fear and to chase those people out with fear.

An act of terrorism is ALWAYS horrible, so to misslable something as a terrorist attack when it clearly does not meet the defined criteria is in my oppinion an example of bias. Like the US labeling the IRA a terrorist org, when they clearly are not.

I refuse to believe these men were not infiltrated before, if they even exist. I refuse to believe America attacked Iraq and Afghanistan for the good of the people. I refuse to believe millions of casulties are justified, approx. 2 mil. in Iraq and 600,000 in Afghanistan including sactions, etc.

I really disagree, its a VERY good point the muslims are making, especially the kicker at the end! But if you know of better ways to expose the western hypocrisy on this issue, lets hear it, by all means.
It's true, the West uses a HUMONGOUS "blame the victim" approach here, conveniently forgetting all the EVIL they do themselves! And in conflict, most of the blame goes to the strongest party. You don't blame kids for parental abuse.
