That's not an AE86,That is an AE85 which is the economy version of the car which doesn't have a Limited Slip Diff and the engine is so underpowered. I can tell because of the tail light design and the way of how you initiate a drift is called a powerslide not a drift because of the normal Diff.

wrong. these are all AE86's, but one of them is an SR5, which you are correct...base model, gutless 4ac engine, etc.

No AE86s came with LSD in canada...which sucks, but the red car had a 2 way LSD.

Also remember stitch welding your car will make it a whole. meaning when you crash more of your car will be affected body wise. but Just get a set of coils and Strutbars and your good.

Yea dude I justgot my megan coils in the other day and I must say I love them but on the bad note they are toooooo stiff even for the softest setting. I am still working on the body rool. I to think that stitch welding a car is alittle over the top for a street car. I mean if your building a all out race car or a weekend track warrior then by all means go for it. But for a daily. I would have to say no for that one.

2. On the red hatch, how did you eleminate all that body roll?

Your going to need to Seam weld the whole body and engine bay that stiffens the whole car out. I just bought my ae86 its a 1985 SR5 automatic but man i fucking love it. I have 2 4age blocks waiting to get rebuilt and eventually I am going to put the SR20DET engine in it.
