Great. I have two apple trees (from Dave Wilson) and was planning to plant them together, but couldn't find much info to do that until this video. Thanks.
I don't know everything is know about planting in fact I'm relatively new. I called some nurseries when I was going to start my backyard orchard.
And two of them said to me to plant the dwarf trees are purchased that they would require upwards to 10 feet apart there was another site that was telling me you could plant trees 18 to 21 inches apart.
I just like to know would it affect the quality or the longevity of the tree
no issue with cross-pollination means they CAN cross pollinate to produce your fruit. Some varieties self pollinate but a good cross pollination produces the most and strongest fruit.
It will of course affect the amount you get do to the overall size reduction of the tree. But how much do you need? Keeping most treees low will result in plenty of fruit how much fruit you need will tell you how tall to grow it. If 6 feet does not get you enough fruit grow it to 8 feet. It is all in your control as long as you don't let it get too big to begin with.
Great videos. I need some help i want to do something similar to this but with really 50 feet big trees will keeping them small affect their fruit size and how much it has? I really want to put like 10 in 10 feet from bread fruit, sea grape, indian cherry, custard apple, and avocado is this possible?

When planting 3 or 4 fruit trees in one hole, can you plant a peach, cherry, apple and appricot? Or do you have plant the same varity?
