  • I love this!! doing it right now.... first time! a little confused though ... in the video you say 3 hdc in first 2 loops but written instructions say 4 hdc in 1st and 6 hdc in 2nd. does it make a difference

  • @sweetcherry7 The written instructions are showing suggestions that will be different from each other. You can mix and match.

  • @tjw1963 thank you so very much!!!! i love this!!! cant stop making them :) :)

  • i dont want to be ignorant by asking u this and im sure many has asked. what happen to the last two petals? do i just repeat petals 13th and 14th?

  • @mallorymakeup88 There is flexibility with this project. You can choose the size petals you want to use and how long/large you want to make your flower.

  • Thank you so much for taking the time to record all of these helpful videos. I'm just beginning to knit and crochet and I've searched through lots of YouTube videos but yours are all so great. You take your time and your video is very well done. I can follow along with you and the results are great. I made this flower the other night for a hat I knitted on a loom. I can't wait to see it on my granddaughter. Thank you again for all of your hard work. I'll be watching your other videos.

  • I made a baby blanket and it's too small for a regular baby blanket, doesn't cover baby, so it's more of just something to place on her crib to look cute and warm her legs in the car seat but i made 3 flowers of different sizes and placed them on the corner. :) She likes to chew on them.. Just thought I'd add my story. Lol.

  • Love this flower, but I am having trouble finding the pattern to finish the flower after pedal 7. I don't crochet as fast as you do and need the printed pattern.

  • @SusieQ309 Open the video details below the video and you will find the link to the written instructions.

  • @tjw1963 Thank you so much for recording your talent and sharing it with us. I am so grateful I found you because I can relate to your method of teaching and I love your voice. It's so calming and I need calming, especially when I'm stressing. That is why I chose crochet because it is like meditation. I find myself anticipating to pick up my yarn and needle, though I don't know yet what to do with it. LOL I believe after you, I will learn in no time. Thanks again!

I've made several of your flowers now and particularly like this one, have made my second one now. I find crochet patterns so difficult to follow ( am only used to knitting patterns) but the tutorials make these so simple. Many thanks again!!

    Muchas gracias!!! =D

  • Hello! Thanks for sharing this tutorial =D your flowers are so beautiful!!

I would like to do the white one but i don´t understand how to grow up the petals (sorry for my poor english) because the first ones are with double crochet and then triple crochet, and so on but how many should I need to do of each one?? i hope you can undestand me =(

    anjali

  • @ilajnareiraw If you have ended up with extra chains, sew them in between the stitches

  • Excellent video..thanks much for taking the time to do it..one quick question..can you tell me where you purchased your hook grip? I have arthritis in my hands and this looks like it might help my grip. thanks..Emmy

  • @1EmmyW The grip is a pencil grip purchased from wal-mart. You can find them in the office supply section of the store

  • I'm really sorry because I see how a lot of people did this and it turned out well. But in truth, this was really hard to understand, and thats kind of upsetting because I really like this flower. I think it's because I can hardly see what you're doing because the camera is so zoomed in and you're working at the very bottom of the video so most of what you do is hardly on camera. I'm sorry, I'm really not trying to be offensive, I'm just sad that I can't make the flower. ='(

  • @MotherMistress Are you new to crochet?

  • @tjw1963 No wait! I think I figured it out, I tried this a couple times and I couldn't figure it out, then I realized that I was turning it wrong! I thought it was supposed to work circularly but I guess it's supposed to be in rows, lol if you know what I mean. Sorry for the trouble and thanks! I use a lot of your tutorials and I really like them. =D

  • I tried this beautiful flower and it worked out quite fine ;o) Thank you for the tutorial! I don't know how to add a picture to my comment - otherwise I would have shown you my result :o(

  • @MariyaSalam You are welcome to do a video response or share a picture on my facebook crochet page.

  • Thanks! I made the puff stitch beanie and this flower! I'm so proud of myself!

  • Thank you for helping me out with my next project! :)

    (from chile C: )

  • @DanieloConO I am thrilled that you are learning how to crochet!

  • i love these flowers! can't wait to try it!!!

  • I learned a lot of different stitches from this video and the basics of making flowers but I hadn't realized that after going through this video that I wouldn't have a flower I would like because of all the different stitches used. =/ Overall good and helpful video though..

  • @jessface777 If you make a long chain, you will end up with a crochet flower. It provides a variety of sizes and shapes for the petal.

  • Perfect video

  • Great teaching! Thanks! I have a pretty flower now for my hat!

  • @carosartain You are welcome!

  • Thanks so much!! This is a Great tutorial!

  • You go too fast for a beginner to understand what exactly you are doing. Plus half the time I can't see what your hands are doing. You need a better camera angle.

  • @dananbell -The angle is perfect, it is exactly the one you need to learn because it is exactly the way you should be looking down at your own hands when you crochet!! believe me, try to learn this way and you'll thank teresa later :d happy crochet!

  • I'm 27 and I lerned how to chrochet the basics from my GradMom !!

OMG !! Thank You Very Much !! I'm from Puerto Rico and since november the new look in progress for winter is EVERYTHING Chrochet !!!

  • Muy bonito..gracias!!!!

  • @dolcelempika Usted es bienvenido

  • 15 people r 2 stupid to make a crochet flower...

  • ok if people would just put a little more attention to your video they would notice that most of their questions are already addressed.....but instead of reviewing they choose to make comments that make you wonder if they should be crocheting....lol. Anyhow, please do not let these few people with learning disabilities to discourage you...there are many many of us that think you are doing an absolutely wonderful job!

  • @eldaaanna Teresa is very sweet for helping people out even though the answers are in her video.

  • i've been watching your videos a months ago and you teach me well,,,.thank you

  • Great video! I made the flower as I followed along...I love the way you hold your yarn in your left hand. Anyway, I just had to tell you that I really enjoyed making my red flower. I'm attaching it to the side of a narrow headband. Thank you! I hope to see more of your videos.

  • I watched to see how to do it. I'll be back later tomorrow to start/finish this project.(I'll attach a vid or something)

  • whats with the 12 dislikes just go away instead down thumbing it dummies. sorry but im mad

  • @puffyjo I hope that beginner crocheters will visit my main channel page for easier projects and basic instructions. I will always send the beginner playlist when someone asks.

  • hi u said in video u do 10 chain but its too short i cant after 10 chain do the next step that u said 15 double chain

  • @malako0oh i think she said to chain 31 in the beginning, she only counted to 10 and skipped to chain 31.

  • @malako0oh I do not show the whole flower. What I am showing are petal segments. You can pick and choose which ones you want on your flower.

  • y do u use those gummy things /:-1

  • This is a great video. It definitely didn't leave me needing more, very easy to understand! Thank you!

  • @Venice487 Yes, I have a facebook crochet page and a facebook page. You are welcome to join both if you would like.

  • how do you decide whether to do, say 3 triple crochets in one spot, and then 6 in then next? is it because of space requirements or is it just aesthetic choice?

  • Comment removed

  • half of your work it out of the video! I can't see where you are hooking in your crochet.

  • @zsugahill I will send you a playlist with the beginner crochet stitches. Once you see the videos, you will know where to put your hook.

  • @tjw1963 I'm having the same problem, can you send me the video as well?

  • @jackieparts The beginner playlist is on the way.

  • @YigsHorror I appreciate the wonderful words. I also have a second channel you may want to check out and subscribe, youtube/crochet
