Tsunami Footage - Koh Lanta

This is so sad... I was in Thailand, in Phuket a few years ago, and I was standing on the beach just thinking of the people who died and how shocked they were when they saw the first big wave coming in.. I know I would have been in shocked !.

@Highroller33138 Because most people on the beach were tourists, Can't you hear the american woman say "OH MY GOD RUN!" They didnt't know that was Tsunami forming, In Koh Lanta, Thailand, Jamaica, And Hawaii those huge waves form all the time. They just didn't suspect it.

just finished watching the tsunami doc on channel 4 tonight. I remember on that nightmare day in 2004 seeing that old couple clinging hold of something in the water, and i think a swede guy trying to save them. But they got dragged away. That footage on boxing day really renched my gut. But tonight the swede guy confirmed that the old guy survived but the wife did not. those pictures will always be gutting.
