@bearwolfable mine is too, this is because you bought the 4gb version, the 250 gb is glossy. I Personally like the charcoal color and feel to it rather then the glossy black. The glossy black leaves smudges like crazy and gets extremely dirty. The 4gb doesnt.

@ItsCreatee Yes you can. Just take the screws off of the original 360 hdd. Then slide the hard drive out of the casing and put it in your new 360 slim and voila

@AndnexsRS by design it can't because there is no ring anymore, but it can get the red light of death, but the new chipset is much better with heat and power consumption, so it definitely won't happen anywhere near as often as it did on the original models.

I got a PS3, i had the old white xbox untill it got the...RINGS! >=( The way i c it, PS3 system it self is better, it brings more, blue-ray, Wifi, free online both the controller and the system is alot more durable...What i like about the Xbox is that its online services is 100x better, and it has great exclusive games (so dose PS3 but you just cant beat Halo or Gears). Long story short, PS3 much better system that will last you, Xbox Best Online service evere!!!!! and great games

As for randomly shutting down the console, I do not believe that will affect your Xbox, so long as you do not do it on a regular basis. For the mw2 freeze, I wouldn't worry about it. If you take apart the old 360 hard drive, it is actually just a laptop hard drive. You can put that into the new slim one, but it is almost impossible to get out. If you have the old 360, get the 4gb slim and just take apart the old hard drive and put it in there. It runs perfectly, and can save you around 100 dollars.

u really need the memory unit stick it in ur xbox 360 arcade then put it memory on it then use the xbox 360 slim hard drive transfor thingy transfor it i think ur done thumbs up if im right also if u have a EXTRA harddrive i recommend using it if u can fit no memeory on ur other one then just transfor the memory on that SO THUMBS UP IF IT HELPED
