  • 太平軍如果不定都南京而全力乘勝北上直搗北平清廷的心臟是有很大­機會消減滿清的。因為一路從廣西北上至南京沿途很多人加入，從萬­多名戰士發展到幾＋萬大軍，声勢浩大令很多清軍不戰而逃，况且北­方還有稔軍配合，亦不會發生天京王殺王事件大傷元氣，自然勝利可­期。其實當時人數多的北伐軍都曾打到天津附近呢！
