Let us take ur "stats", regarding poverty in India, U say that the slum population is almost 45 million, which means that out of 1.2 billion people, 45 million of them live in the slums, which also means that there are hundreds of millions of Indians who have never seen that side of India, who have led a better, more comfortable life than u degenerates ever will!! Go check the stats, The maximum number of travellers to europe, south america and the US in 2009 were Indians! MF

The details were provided by the "Indian Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation" I'm not interested in hearsay, unless you can support your claims with official traceable records from reputable sources. @AustraliaProud i live in Mumbai... i see the slums every day..certain areas no suburban kids like me even go to...they are acres and acres on the sides of main national highways... 'Dharavi' a slum in the middle of Mumbai...at the sides of closed societies... is the largest slum in Asia... its so huge i have seen 1 percent of the slum living here for 23 yrs now... the people especially the youth are extremely brainwashed here

Clearly, poverty is a major problem in India and this is openly acknowledged by the Indian govt. India's vast wealth is held by very few. I'm not sure whether it is really true to say the youth are 'extremely brainwashed' but I accept your comment on face value. My impression though, was that many Indians were actively kept in ignorance of the reality and were not fully aware of quite how deprived they were in comparison to the wealthy few..
