Interestingly they wouldn't release the money from my ebay sale for DAYS unless I gave them my Social security number! Now these CROOKS have my Social Security number and they ignore my e-mails to remove it.I opened an investigation about the STOLEN $47 from my bank account & they said "we've finished our investagation, send a letter to bla bla bla for the report"

Is the debt collector acting on a contract, on any first hand knowlege?, using hearsay factual evidence to base it's claim?, using mail fraud [sending a fraudulent claim thru the mail]? Sue Paypal in small claims for the full $7500 for all the time you've spent on this. Then sue the Debt collector for the same thing. State "email me at: george at yahoo dot com" you have to spell it out because ebay censors emails. Invoice your buyer using the request money link, use his real email which he has emailed to you. This kind of invoice makes it a payment without ebay involvement, bypassing the hold

Missy stated that if there was a charge back you would be liable, is this what happened, even then there is only a charge back of money that was deposited in pay pal account. Big hint: Manage your risk. Ship small items FREE via airmail. If an Int'l buyer gets FREE shipping, odds are that they won't file a claim for LOW or MID value item say under $50. Over $50 or so, you are gambling, suck it up or don't use paypal! IMHO pay pal is like HEROIN, eventually everyone who uses it DIES! Hope you quit in time! Pay the agency a check for 1 cent a month, by law it's called GOOD FAITH payment and they cannot do anything worse than harass you over the phone in most states LOL

That's why I never sell anything online anymore. It's not worth the risk. I had a business partner a couple of years ago who went through one hassle over another w/paypal to get paid for services she provided; Paypal refused to pay her, citing new policies which discriminated against her freedom of owning her own business (aka capitalism). She eventually cancelled her account and is in the middle of a lawsuit against paypal.
