  • Most 'tubers are not old enough to remember the oil embargo of the '70s. We were talking about corn 'gaso-hol' then and it's still a bad idea. Corn is not only a poor yield crop for fuel, IT'S FOOD! I'm happy UF is doing this, in addition we have switch grass (up to 20:1 energy return) North America has also developed clean coal gassification as well as many centuries of natural gas deposits.

  • i think the next fuel source we use will have to be able to work with the cars we already have. natural gas, alcohol, bio diesel.
