  • fucking great film, the performances are so believable and engaging

  • one of my fave all time films...proves you dont need a big budget to make a masterpiece...

  • only the strongest got there tails sucked in alleynes place let me tell ya

  • ''Their humour was so sharp... but at the same time it was very cutting, there was a sense of cruelty to the humour that only the strong survived''

Seems absolutely spot on there. His home town of Uttoxeter was very near where I live, and this is certainly recognizable. Good to have someone bringing attention to the Midlands more.

    Brilliant film.

  • Its the same in any housing scheme i think

It felt pretty spot on watching it.

The humour was cruel/sadistic at times. You really needed a thick skin.

The acid scene is so accurate it had me looking at me hands for tracers

  • in the top 3 films of all time , gets better every time you watch it

  • So true, i've watched it 4 or 5 times and it doesn't get boring. The realism of it fascinates me.

  • powerful film

  • Simply fantastic! Such great acting and direction

  • a fantastic film, paddys performance is brilliant,it makes me cry everytime i watch it.

  • The most amazing opening credits I've ever seen, walking through the East Midlands countryside, to Smog's 'Vessel In Vain'...

  • "God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into heaven. I can live with that". How about that for a line? GREAT FILM.

  • He CAN'T live with it...

  • A superb film

  • Shane, you are a genius.

  • If Dead Man's Shoes was an American film, both Paddy and Shane would've won Oscars by now.

  • its not a horror film and it got too emotional towards the end.the soundtrack is great tho

  • too emotional? how can a film affect you emotionally too much, it's a complete masterpiece

  • Yeah, it needed more blood, some chainsaws maybe, and a big bomb at the end.

  • retard!

  • For the benefit of the idiots (most of you, then), this was a joke. Twats.

  • Immense film, superbly directed - and just how good is Paddy Considine?

  • honestly thats one of the best films iv seen and I hate horror films

  • Well it isn't really a horror film. ;)

  • That film feels so real its unreal!

  • We need Paddy

  • legend paddy lad legend

  • what is the name in the clipp in this interview.. when they sing" there is blood on my hands, from the muder of a man :| can anyone help me out here plx

  • Yep I've been searching for that track myself, its by Bonnie "Prince" Billy - A King at Night - For some reason not included on the soundtrack CD. I've not managed to find it myself but it is on the album "Ease Down the Road" by said BPB,

    cheers

    K

  • This IS a great film. Paddy Considine is brilliant, and will become a major British acting talent. Toby Kebbel and Gary Stretch were also very good, and put in great performances. Great soundtrack too!!
