@ShelbyGT500001 there is no recorded "original" version of this song. it is very old american folk song and first know recorded version exists from 1927. also, it is written somewhere that this song is not even american, but english one, from 16th-17th century. the version The Aminals did was and still is most famous, and i love that one most, but it doesn't mean it is the best. All versions are pretty good :)

Chapman never ceases to bring attention while entertaining. I'm so glad she opted to remake this song, from the masked positivity that the animals twisted it into.
