I thought that smiling with your teeth would look like a display of aggression. I seem to remember visiting a zoo in I was told by a guide that if you are to smile to a monkey or a gorilla you should smile without showing your teeth.
What a complete priviledge it must be to have these magestic creatures trust you enough to interact with you like that. Sir David's wildlife documentaries are simply the best ever made. What an amazing life he has!!! Green with envy!!
This is Awesome and I love the Way the Little Gorillas Interact with him it does go to show How Similar Gorillas are to Us The Babies showing No Fear as A Human baby as well They are Curious...
i thought he died last year because there was a david attenborough thing on and it had been edited in the style of a memorial, shat myself cos he hadn't dont life in cold blood yet haha
Sir David Attenborough's contribution to television as a presenter is impressive enough, but considered alongside his role as commissioner of documentaries like Civilisation and The Ascent of Man, it is staggering.
When you type in "David" into youtube, the first result should be "David Attenborough"
and NOT "David Guetta"!

I also get a real sense of belonging when I see these videos.
It's really unnatural living in houses in a city. This is our heritage right here in this video.
If any of you get the chance to go to Africa, and experience the safari, you must.

I tell you , if we humans were more like gorillas (including our choice of diet) there would be a lot less violence and hostility in the world.

Gorillas have a much more peaceful society than humans could ever hope to have

The programme you're thinking of was a tribute to his 50 years of wildlife documentaries - quite an achievement by anyone's standards!
