  • Step 2

Look at our strengths, joys and pleasures in life. Look at the good things we have done in life and be proud of our strengths. Focus on these things and make an effort to step forward positively to a better life for our self and those dear to us.

    Step 3

Seek help to understand your anger, your moods and psychological health. If a positive approach to life, appreciation of love and feelings of joy are too hard to find, seek professional help to understand why this is so.

  • Step 1

Admit that we can not control our drinking. If we have any alcohol at all, we can not control our behaviour and it has a negative affect on our life. We must not have another drink.

  • The family doesn't matter. Once the alcoholic is sober, he's his own boss. His children should beg to carry his jock-strap! As Dr. Bob always said, Where love fails, fear will always succeed.

  • Not up to the usual standard, Papa Joe. Once the alcoholic is sober, they haven't got a leg to stand on. You work those steps and you're teflon. The family's not even fit to carry your jock-strap. Where love doesn't succeed, FEAR always will. That's what Dr. Bob always said.
