How can people who have never lived in the real world relate to those who do?
Nine thousand pounds a year may not be much to millionaires like Cameron and Osborne but to the rest of us it is almost unmanageable. I am a mature student who has recently finished a degree. If I had to pay nine thousand a year I just wouldn’t have bothered. I guess that’s what they want. Education in the eyes of Conservatives is a privilege reserved for the special few.

@privatecaboose250 Yes Labour made the mistake of overspending but what they created was a "nice period" between 1993-2007 where there was none stop economic growth, housing prices increase and business cycle was somewhat flattened. The coalition has been in charged for over a year now, they and you need to get over the past and get on with the present.

To any brits who read this -- kettling is nothing more than a tactic used to put people off protesting. It's indiscriminate and holds anyone in the general area for extended periods of time.
Don't let this tactic go unchallenged. Make some noise with your local MP - or next time you go to legitimately protest, you might be the next one stuck there for 12 hours without food/water/medical/much anything.
