My BMW 540i - Engine Noises

hey i have the same noises in my 540i 2001

but i don't know if its normal.. Im going to take my car to

bmw so they can check that out... when u start ur car does it make a noise

its the timing chain guides and rails cost you about $286 not including the gaskets that youll need and not a easy fix.

Sounds like there may be sand inside the engine. My cousin's 540 had the same problem. He lived right on the beach.
