I spent a few months with him in Arcata several years ago, saved My life,he did! I built and lived in about 3 other self built house bikes until I went to Hawaii. This is not a trailor, it is a 2 wheeled pedal powered camper that is much more efficent then any towed rig. I wish you Gods blessingm My good friend, Brian!
well been another 3 months. wonder how hes doing. i worry about brian out there. if anyone knows where he is or knows em chime in. maybe send em a survial pack or something of goodies and food. today people just dont care. i still do though. HA.
brian says it is his human powered space program. 8)
i wonder how he is out in the dark and heat there tonight?. light a cadel for brian.
they did have a donate to help brian thing when he rebuilt his land ship with seattle bicycle friends help. he said he can even build you one for a fee.
its an aluminum slat frame bolted together with styrofoam panels they use in house walls covered by aluminum tape.
he made a weighted motor for cyntrifical force. it has cubby holes and shelfs and a bed and stays dry. the cool bicycle people in portland oregon helped brian rebuild it somewhete bigger because it had some mold growing in it. hes lived in it 15 years everywhere. one day i might 2. hes peddled the whole us and down to mexico all with no motor.
Impressive!!! A bicycle RV! I hope he has some electric assist on that thing! It must be great to be able to travel the country and not be homeless or needing motels or living in your car! By the size of that thing, he could hide a gas engine in it and nobody would know!
I saw that same style trailer in Davis CA. I think it is the same guy riding it that had it in Davis. looks like he got over CA to. I am Californian, always an Oregonian at heart I suppose because I have always "freaked out" over bicycles...because I love them!
Uh, we're Portlanders, and we don't freak out, we are the Bicycle Capital of the USA and celebrate in the wonderous & amazing bicycling inventions we see about town.

It's the first time we've seen it. I could not grab the camcorder fast enough-- had to make a fast U-turn and hunt it down.
