This was the last season of Diff'rent Strokes to feature the late Dana Plato as a regular charcter, she made appearences in season 7 and 8 but as dropped as regular cast member because the show learned she was pregnant and the producers didn't think a pregnancy would fit in well with the shows family image.

Todd Bridges mother was in an episode of 'Good Times' as a woman who was called 'The Wiggler'.
JJ was supposed to paint her in the nude but he painted her in a swimsuit instead.
