Well, the building challenge is: (que the drums...) To create a PF car / vehicle that uses Ackerman's steering geometry. It works like this, the inner wheel turns more then the outer one, and vise-versa.
It helps by lowering the friction on the outer wheel while the car is turning.
Now I'm working on a smaller, fast FWD car. Probably later on I'll try to put together an Ackerman setup, But I'm afraid it would be too big to my taste.
Well, that is not completely true, in your video, I already see that you have created the ackerman steering geometry. I didn't tell you the whole challenge, the challenge is to build a car with ackermann's steering geometry and with suspension. But as you already sead, you're busy with a new project, and I really can't wait to see it.
Looks great! And as I can see, it also works great!
Just one thing that I wanted to point out, you don't really need a central diff if the front and back wheels are the same size, but the diff still helps.
nice how old are you?

ackerman stering is easy with suspension, my lego snowmobile has it, along with rear suspension.

Also, are you up for a small building challenge?

Yes, you are right, the central diff. is not necessary. But I would have liked to know how it works in this model... :o)
Building challenge... What do you mean?
