Why is it that so many men that could have changed the world had they not been killed, got killed?

Most of you are wrong. My Mother had an appointment to see Dr. Weiss on the following Tuedsay after the shooting. Long did do away with Judge Pavy's position but Long was also spreading rumors that Judge Pavy's wife had black blood in her heritage.In 1935 you did not say things like that. The doctor you are referencing, Carl Austin Weiss, was simply going down to the capitol to plead with Senator Long on a compromise and not get rid of his father in-law, who was a local judge and an opponent of Long. Apparently, the Senator's bodyguards were on high alert, and very inexperienced, which lead to them flipping out when seeing Dr. Weiss approach Long. Another bit of evidence that proves Weiss wasn't the shooter was that Long's lip was bleeding, as well.

Huey Long, a man who actually made change and not just promised it like some people, increased the public education system, improved louisiana's highways, made possible scholarships for students of low income and campaigned for fair wealth distribution.

He was challenging the status quo and was becoming a threat to the powers that be and was killed for it just like Dr. King, JFK, RFK, Malcolm X among others.

A lot of bullets from Tommy guns hit the marble wall at one location. One of the bodyguards' .45 bullets bounced off the wall and hit Long in the kidney. He had two bullets in him. The idiot who operated on him didn't even find it. He died from internal bleeding. If the marble walls have imperfections, they are only at the spot where Long was shot. Bullet hits!

Because he had many many friends and was a very respectable doctor and family man, in general, an upstanding man of the community. Even if Weiss truly did long kill Long, all these people would still be in mourning over the sudden, unexpected loss of Weiss. Weiss's life as well as the excessive amount of bullets fired by the body guards are reasons that people question the official version of the assassination.
