I went to college with Simone (the girl in the video - after her GCSE's she came to college) and she's a complete fucking fruitcake.
She has absolutely no social skills, doesn't understand sarcasm/humour and gets incredibly worked up about trivial matters. Although she might have supreme knowledge, is it worth it for a lifetime of having no friends or fun?
@Harryengland2407 Harry! Hey, nice to catch up with you. As I'm sure you can imagine, it was lovely to stumble across this charming little comment about myself. It's interesting that you have nothing better to do with your time than talk bollocks about vague acquaintances from college, but who am I to judge?
For your information, since you're a tad confused on the subject, I have both friends and fun. Fortunately, none of them are complete gits like you.
@casablancagirl93 Hey Simone, interesting to see you commenting on this video of yourself. Every single person at Harlow thinks you're a fucking mong so it's just you vs yourself
You're named after your dad, and have sex with him. Have a nice life buddy!
@Harryengland2407 you're a bit of a bully aren't you Harry. Perhaps you might behave like a reasonable human being and take your unpleasent comments down because the impression I get of you is that you're a rather tragic keyboard warrior who takes pleasure in bullying women.
@Harryengland2407 Describing anyone as a "complete fucking fruitcake" says more about your ignorance and prejudice than anything else. Also your prediction of her "lifetime of having no friends or fun" it turns out was completely wrong.
@Harryengland2407 Do you not see the irony of attacking someone over the internet in the most vicious terms for getting 'worked up over trivial matters' and 'having no social skills'? It reeks of low self esteem. Simone is a wonderful person and I'd much rather have her as a friend than the likes of you. You should feel ashamed of yourself, and if you had any decency, you'd remove your comment and apologise personally to her.
Interesting to hear what Lowri Turner thinks is a suitable image for a young girl as she sits there pontificating in full "glamour" make-up, red lipstick, primped up bottle blonde hair and sequins at 9 o'clock in the morning! Is this her idea of being well-adjusted? This perfect example of a brittle, grasping man-pleaser is clearly thrown by the sight of a loving parental relationship. If this Dad is "mental" I dread to think what would be considered sane by these low-rent tabloid bullies.
So a persons character should be shaped solely by their school peers. And because a teenager girl doesn't choose to wear mini-skirts and belly-tops, she's not a real teen? Unbelievable, biased idiocy. I never understand this idea that being an intelligent, reasonable, together person is cause for concern, whereas being angsty, difficult and unruly is healthy. Parents have never been so undermined today. They simply have no authority anymore. Everyone expects kids to raise themselves.
It depends entirely on the teacher and what experience of the outside world these kids have. If it's even remotely limited, the parents are going to pay the price for a kid that does not know how society works.
An excellent example of the kind of ridiculous and offensive prejudices that home-educators encounter all the time; the father was incredibly restrained given the disgusting suggestion Lowri Turner was making and the girl demonstrated remarkable maturity. If Ms. Turner is a product of the schooling system then I have been given yet another reason to feel happy and proud to have been educated at home.
This woman is insane. I think that this father is a good dad not some pervert. The daughter dresses very nice. Hey maybe going to school would put pressure on girls to look like a tramp when they leave the house to impress her friends. I think this show was really sick and my kids are in regular school. The homeschooled family look like nice people.
@jamesdixon1987 You seem to be an excellent judge of character..

A lot of prejudice in this show, against home-schoolers and home-schooled children. Weird.
