Green Lantern's constructs broke with even the softest slap many times and generally,he was shown de-powered.

And Superman..especially him. He was shown very weak. Being hurt just by missiles from Luthor? Overpowered by

Thanks for using scenes from this ep and the final fight with Lex-Brainiac in JLU, heck JL period. First off Batman never switch over. He realized that each dimensional universe should have it's own set of rules and principles too go by. Further more Batman was the perfect choice to help the league, due to the fact that he was never a full fledge member to begin with, and Wonder Woman come on.. She's glued to Superman till the end.

He's not really 'evil' -- I think 'jaded' is a better description. But my guess is he realizes that the Flash's death in his world is what set things awry, so it disturbs him that it's happening to his compatriots.
