Wbrew pozorom to nie jest trudne. na początek poćwicz na naszym polskim utworze Wehikuł Czasu Dżemu tak właśnie jest używana technika hammer-on i pull-off.
jak opanujesz intro do Wehikułu, to bez problemu zagrasz Layla :)
@ShindanPL wlasnie hammery dla mnie to masakra. ale wehikul mi wychodzi grany chwytami :P nie no powoli jakos to pojdzie mysle. chwilowo bard`s songa masteruje i jest dobrze :)
yes they were. Allman came up with this riff(from Albert King) and the slide solo before the piano bit and obviously the slide solos' over the piano..A lot of people belive EC did must of the stuff on that album but Allman really brings it together just give a listen to Why does love got to be so sad
Clapton wrote the song for Pattie Boyd. Delaney didn't do any of the writing. In fact, Duane Allman did alot of the writing with Clapton for this album. But... the original version is by Derek & The Dominos. Eric Clapton did an acoustic version for his Unplugged album. That one is by Eric Clapton. Derek & the Dominos did the original.
Allman was simply a guest musician-- a very good one who contributed great slide parts, but nothing more. Clapton's co-writer (when he had one) was Bobby Whitlock (the keyboardist). Jim Gordon (the drummer) composed and played the piano coda in "Layla."
The original name of the band was "Eric and the Dynamos," but after it was mispronounced before a gig as "Derek and the Dominoes" they just decided to keep it. That make more sense?
the opeoning riff you play is not 100 percent your missing a note or two befor you play the power chords but the power chords themselves seem good to me
i think that the pulloffs at the beggining are played too fast making a weird gap between 'em and the following power chords =/ im not pro so dunno xD but i think so ^^;
Only problem is.. 95% of them I wrong.. some are close enough.. some are dead on.. but not many.. I have better luck just learing the thing myself or looking hear first...lol
good job mate.... only negitive feedback i can give is keeping time, you're out of time on the hammer on's but fine on the power chord slide's... thats it made... keep it up!!!
for all the a holes out there who criticize this video, shut up your stupid. This kid is very talented for his age. And i dont see you posting a video of this, probably just some pricks
Never worry too much about the criticism. If you did that at 12, then I'd say by the time you are 17 a lot of these same "critics" might want your autograph. Just keep on rockin!
hi this was great! do you know how to play the unplugged version too like cud you post a vedio with the same tabs at each part ive been trying to find the unplugged version too and how to play that. Thanks again for your hard work
I belive on the power cords (Sorry if incorrectly labeled) I think you need another set of 5-7-7 at the start, Thats what it sounds like you play, and that is how I play it very good though, helped me

I shall kill you kid. this is eric clapton. not derek and the dominoes.
gini578 3 years ago
This is the Derek and the Dominoes's song.
Ever hear "Derek is Eric?" Clapton and Delaney both created this song when Clapton joined the Dominoes.
It was for Pattie, who at the time was George Harrison's Wife. "What would you do when you get lonely" for when she would leave him.
KayosRevolutionized 3 years ago
you mean Duane Allman dude..Delaney Bramlett didn't create this with Clapton

whts the the best amp setting to get the best sound for the song
arabonastick 3 years ago
try a fender vibrochamp xd, it has the setting of the amp eric clapton used when recording. all volume, no distortion pedal, let the tubes take over.

Does anyone knows if this song appears in any old cartoon from the 90's or something.
Because I'm 15 and I'm sure that I have listened to it in my childhood and I can't find out when.

your playing the wrong tabs.
the electric is slighter higher.
your actually playing the acoustic version, which is essentially the same, but played at a different tempo. find better tabs.

Lol thats not true, its definatly the electric one hahahaha
Fking bullshit.
