You ascend and descend in melodic minor only correct? I have trouble making this scale work for me for some reason.

@Cloc817 Mostly, you ascend in melodic minor and descend in natural minor. But you could also descend in harmonic minor. Thing is, just play around with the scale over some backing track and find your own style of doing it :)
