@nitanice This is not taught in school because it is a misconstruction. Before the Federation of states, the Presidents of the Continental Congress were members of Congress selected (by members) to be impartial moderators during meetings. They had little authority, no executive power and had NOTHING TO DO with the Office of President created by the US Constitution. The US Presidency was NOT a successor to these moderators! The hidden agenda here is in profit, not history.
