  • I've stuttered for as long as I can remember--my ears even burn in embarassment sometimes. But I NEVER viewed stuttering like you do. I can't believe that you call "stuttering" a "speech imediment"! Just saying "speech impediement" makes me feel like a loser, who can't achieve anything in life. If you stop calling "stuttering" a "speech impediment", then maybe 1/2 of your low self-esteem will disappear. As a stutter, I can't understand you; no wonder the unstuttering guys supposedly don't.

  • I want you in bed baby. mmmmm your sexy mommy

  • You are soo Determined!!! You Inspire me!!!

  • I know what you mean. Both my sis and I both stutter. We are twins, stuttering twins haha go figure. She doesn't let her stuttering bother her but it bothers me to no end =..( but I've learned to live with it for the most part. OMG presentations are the worse for me. I wish you all the best in being happy. Hopefully someone will be able to figure out what goes on btw the process of thinking and saying because everything sounds perfect in my head haha

  • Your speech sounds fine :D You're doing a great job. I stutter so thanks a lot for posting this. Peace x

  • I posted a video about my speecheasy a while ago. I love talking to other people who stutter. I feel that there is an initial common bond that we all share...non-stutterers just dont understand the hardships..i dont blame them or put shame upon them...they just dont know..im 22 and in college for theatre right now and i am ALWAYS looking for new people to talk to. hit me up.

  • hi i av a speach inpedimant and im 23 and my name issssssss ssss ddddddaniel

  • Hey I'm with you. I haven't met anyone with a stuttering problem but yeah, I don't think you need to find someone who like stutters. I just think of it as another test if that person is even worth my time. I know it makes you feel like shit too but I guess I always try to look at the bright side of things. Anyways, have good one.

  • When looking for people to date I like to see that they have some sort of vulnerability,

I think that your stutter makes you really, really sweet ;)

    Thanks, keep smiling :)

  • I know exactly what you mean. I remember wanting to find a girlfriend with stutter for a long time. It's nice to find someone to relate to. I never met anyone like that though. We are few and far between. Still there is hope for love among non-stutterers. I promise!

  • what kinda car do you drive?

  • why

  • Hi easy for me but I think you dont look stupid at all... people might notice it but I think its kind of sweet, altough you feel different about that. I think you are brave for still making the vid... just try talking to people the same way, without letting it bother.

    Greetings, Richard (the Netherlands)

p.s im really pretty but i still cant stop stuttering loool thats not fair! (just kidding)

  • ummm. what was that ps thing about?

  • Hey there my name's sean and I'm 22 and have a stutter. for the most part I would say you can't tell I tend to get hung up on word that start with a W or L. I have never had a problem with reading thing. How ever I do have visual and auditory proccessing problems. Stuttering for me is frusterating when I stutter in front of someone who I don't now and then I feel they began to judge me by the way I speak which makes me embarresed to talk at times because of this.

  • I just wanna say I really admire people on YouTube that stutter and make videos anyways. I am 30 years old and I stutter very badly but I have found a blessing because of it... I write poetry very well and other motivational wrttings. The words I can not speak, lets me think even more and to put my thoughts on paper. I still don't have the courage to make a YouTube video yet though. Myspace me...Z3R0.

  • hey I'm andy n I'm 20 years old. I've stuttered since i can remember. However, It's gotten a lot better over the years! It's not even an issue to me anymore. Just stop pittying yourself, generally speaking. Accept who you are but DON'T accept the notion that your a "special" person. Your jus as normal as everyone else. Botton line is it's all in your head, and be optimistic about everything in life, even when things aren't going so well. Anyways, jus believe n yourself n ignore stupid people ;)

  • I like your speech problems and you are very nice Iwould be your boyfriend

  • (cont).....which I know will always be a part of my life, is not as debilitating as I thought it was.

Kudos to you for speaking out! All the best...Jon.

  • Hi Alice!....Thanks for the friend invite, I gladly accept!

I used to get really wound up with my stutter, there were times when even though I might have something to contribute to a conversation I would keep quiet because I'd be so concerned about it. (Not the right attitude to have I know).

Recently, from watching channels such as StutterTalk & keeping in touch with other stutterers, I'm slowly but surely starting to realise that my stutter,...(t.b.c.)

  • Hi. I think that your stuttering is as big an issue as you make it. If you're at ease with it, then others generally will be. If not (which my instinct tells me is true in your case), then it will become an issue between you and bf's who can't understand what we go through. I think it's the difference between being an awesome girl (who happens to stutter) and a stutterer (who's fun to hang out with).

Sorry if this seems blunt but space is limited. Congrats for speaking out tho.

    All the best x

  • Well done, Alice, a good start! Thanks for your kind words, but if I'm awesome, then so are you. You're a lot nicer to look at, anyway. And it was a good idea to get the Rolling Stones to join you. None of my girlfriends have ever stuttered, but they don't seem to mind that I do.
