19-year-old Kiefer was sexy then and is just as hot now. And this movie if one of the best. Some one mentioned From Dusk Till Dawn, another fantastic vampire movie. But my favorite vamp movie will forever be Near Dark which came out the same year as LB. Diamondback is THE SEXIEST VAMPIRE EVER (with Santanico a very close 2nd) just as Vasquez (Aliens) is the sexiest Chicana.

BTW, Lost Boys' Michael and Near Dark's Homer are actually half-brothers, sons of the younger priest in The Exorcist.

The 80's were definately the best years..i was born in 1969 and from 11 onwards i was old enough to really take those years in. Lost Boys and Top Gun were the best movies by miles. I personally think it will be impossible to make a better Vampire flick than Lost Boys. Lost Boys 2 has tried taking us back to those glorious years but it lacked the bite or charisma of the first one. maybe if Corey Haim had been in it.

One of my all time favorite music videos! One thing I really love is how it has a bunch of deleted scenes that didn't make the movie (.49-51, 2:02-2:05, 2:50-2:52,2:54-2:55, and 2:59-3:01). I checked the DVD deleted scenes and they aren't on there either. The Star/Mike sex segment in this video (3:21-3:30) is also COMPLETELY different then what is in the film with Mike coming in for the kiss, and then it ending with Mike's kiss on Star's cheek.
