@kayla12360 Well, sure, her outfit is silly for a grown woman, but Sally Brown is a little girl and most moms buy clothes for their children with room to grow ('cause in most cases, do they ever grow!...and the ones who don't are very unhappy about it).

So Sally has short, curly hair (easy to keep neat), wears ankle socks and sturdy shoes (naturally, she's a normal, active child), and a dress she can grow into...all very practical for a little girl in first grade, like Sally Brown.

I like it!
