I have studied the furry fandom quite closely. I've even been to furry cons and I have acquaintances who are in the fandom. I've been to their parties, I've been to their panels, I've spoken with such luminaries as Dr. Conway and others. And as far as perversion goes, what exactly is perverted, is through the eyes of the observer (excluding horrible things like children and perversions to that nature). Of coarse your going to meet alot of losers if you go to the conventions. Most people who go there (not out of curiousness) are people who are obsessed with it and really have no lives partially do to the obsession. Actually, I was comparing them to people at other conventions. I've been to a wide variety of conventions, and let me tell you, those people who dress up as klingons are lacking in maturity and class, but they still aren't as annoying, or sad as furries. Most of them actually know how to party. Most other con goers are pretty normal despite being geeky. Weeaboo are dumb and immature but mostly well adjusted people. Compared to other types of geeks, furries rate dead last.

Ok, so i was wrong here. You werent talking about all furries, you were talking about con goers. And yes i agree. Ive never been to either kind of convention and honestly, a star trek convention actually looks like fun, i like star trek myself actually. Furry conventions, dont exactly have the brightest atmosphere from what ive seen around the net. Out of all the types of conventions that ive seen, a furry con does look like it would come in last.

Well you dont speak for me. Or for that matter any of the furries ive met. So were does that leave you there? at the most, you can say that most furries are. But even that is debatable. You cant lump all of them together, people vary too much. Too many different people and different ways of thinking.
