i LOVE that you guys did this trip! i heard about it from that interview on KCRW's "Which Way L.A.?" and later on KPCC. it sounds completely insane and entirely unreasonable (in a good way i.e. no excuses for NOT doing it). you guys are like very twisted Lewis & Clarks! are you going to do this again, maybe next year? where can i sign up?

Ewww...I grew up in Los Angeles and lived there most of my life, and I'll tell you one thing. That is an pretty filthy river.

It took us two and a half days to go from Encino to Long Beach - a total of around 15 hours of actual kayaking.
