  • Goddamn awesome!

  • Get the audio from this song at speedyconversion doht cohm.

  • Haven't lost their touch- simply amazing!!! One of my favorites since high school back in the 1980's.

  • Wow. I love this.

  • simply great!!!!

  • 1:11...wow..

  • I was convinced that they would be the next Lennon/Macartney, shame they split.

  • i was there! it was like fifty people there! i was on the last weekend of a seven week trip to london! and the only reason i could FACE going home to wash dc america was that i had squeeze tickets( to a stadium show) and we went to a little tiny festival in kent ! where my friend simon was playing with barry melton ! and i was so bummed i was leaving ! AND THEN.... SQUEEZE pulled up in a winnebago! lol glen and chris got up and did a gig for all forty of us there! BLEW MY MIND! best day ever!

  • @SherryDarlingone Wow, what a story!

  • then you will love this! search this song at the hawkhurst festival!

  • @SherryDarlingone Great clip, thanks for the pointer. They're having fun there, it's not as polished and 'safe' as this version.

  • Quite the pair ..hard to compare these guys. You cant put their music in a box or call it rock or nu wave or...anything else but great sounds. There's no missing the cutting edge lyrics and that razor edge voice. One of my favorite bands of all time.

  • takes me right back to the Summer '79 when they were young and so was I

  • Got my tickets to see them in November... Happy days :)

  • Absolutely killer.

Saw Squeeze in 1987 at Colby College tripping balls on mushrooms. Best concert I ever saw.

  • Tune takes me back to sunny dayz at college when my brain still worked

  • ACE

  • This is Difford & Tilbrook rather than Squeeze. But thanks for the upload :-)

  • GUITAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks for this upload! I was searching for this version for a very long time. Do you know where I can find the acoustic version that was aired on VH1 classic like five years ago? :-)

  • No, sorry.

I recorded this as a favour to friend. I wasn't the biggest Squeeze fan in the world when I uploaded this, but have since been converted.

Have seen The Fluffers & Squeeze live since, and consider them both 2 of the best gigs I've ever been to. :)

  • @Fogg1969

Oh, that's cool. Thanks for the reply!

  • @Fogg1969 Lucky Dog. Ive never had the pleasure to hear this band live. But every time I hear one of their songs, it sticks in my head for days. Excellent talent..have you ever tried to write a song ? I can play harmonica well and am starting to write now. All that said makes me know how hard it is to write ..like this . These Guys are some of the top of their field..That shows and even say on the radio you can hear that.

  • @jimmyofaden I've tried to write songs, every now and again I have a momentary sense of success, but it'll only be a line, and then nothing that comes close to "the devil came and took me from bar to street to bookie." This duo have sustained their genius for over 30 years, and that's remarkable really.. There are very few writers with such a wealth of quality material.

  • I prefer this to the studio version!! so talented

  • That's a really good live performance.Always a great band.

  • What a song!!

  • Fucking tremendous....

  • @Shlongy Beyond fucking tremendous.

  • Wow it's awesome! Didn't expect it to be this good :D

  • Wonderfull, Difford and Tillbrook, one of the UK's best duos, Love you guy's

  • Bless Glenn♥

Let himself go a bit eh?

    Oh Well i love him :D x

  • Well just a little I guess lol but come on he is a middle aged man now !

  • Fantastic. I also love their acoustic verision of Ticket to Ride. I can't find it anywhere. Has anybody else heard it or seen a video?

  • This is so awesome! I finally got to meet my heros when I saw them play in Austin late last year. Chris is a really nice guy, and Glenn was kind of indifferent...which is fine because we were all a bunch of drunk fans! Greatest band EVER!!!!!

  • wow...great clip......SQUEEZE and WAYNE ROONEY !!!

  • This song is so good, it even sounds awesome totally stripped down to just 2 guys with guitars. Great tune and performance!

  • I like this, but not the squeezed (ha) look. I wish I had some advice for you Fogg1969, to get it so it looks right. Also, The TOTP debut of Take Me I'm Yours was just removed from the site. Now what do we do for fun?

  • The aspect ratio is fixed now. Nothing to do with me though, it's something Youtube must have done. :)

  • saw them on saturday 26th at the british motorshow london they where fantastic

  • I wish that they would reform

  • They have.

  • cool!

  • They still sound amazing

  • Awesome version of a classic song :)

  • i ment nicked... sorry... i dno how 2 spell it =P

  • I love Squeeze! I knicked their album off my dad!

  • Marvellous

    Highly professional

  • One of my favorite Squeeze songs and sounds awesome acoustic style!!!
