  • they always throw a bunch of low limbos at me in the end, i always end up with the hard ones

  • Hope you didn't need your palm for anything...

  • this song+blisters on hand= tug-o frickin-war!

  • 1 person broke his back trying to limbo.

  • @UltraMario30000 I can believe that.

  • WOUAOOOOOOHAAAAAAA

  • I <3 Limbo Dance!!!

  • I used to hate the tug of war game and the limbo game in mario party allways hurt my hand on the joystick after pulling hard in the game

  • catchy

  • Love Tug-O-War!

  • @DennisBillington Yeah, that's easy enough.

  • @mrbenio not on your controller

  • @DennisBillington

You don't remember the blisters do you?

  • Grrrr....Tug O' War.....

  • The only person I've ever seen beat this in my presence was my cousin when I had tro ask him to beat it for me every time! XD

  • Well, timing is crucial for each jump.

  • @mrbenio Yup, and I learned that the hard way... every time.

  • DK???

  • Yes?

  • Are people saying there's a limbo game? I know of Tight Rope Jump and some cave game, but not a limbo game.

  • There is a limbo game here. It's called "Limbo Dance".

  • @pumpituppartyzone You mean "Hot Rope Jump."

  • That limbo game was complicated for me. I could beat it, but at times I had to almost fall on my back for the red bars.

  • I can't argue with that...

  • I remember this. I usually challenged myself against hard CPUs (and manage to beat them 90% of the time), but I groaned at Tug O' War and Paddle Battle. Hard CPUs make you play so hard that extended play on rotating the control stick could make me get a blister on the palm of my hand, which really sucks. I started to just figure that beating them at those two mini-games wasn't worth a blister and reset the game when they popped up.

  • Blisters on the hand from playing those games? I've been there.

  • These music videos made me play the game again and also made me realize that I forgot to mention that Deep Sea Divers also can make you rotate the control stick, but it's not as intensive as Tug O' War and Paddle Battle. At least the GameCube controller's control stick is a little softer than the N64's (and bigger too).

PS: I also wanted to mention to jomar500 that what he referred to Bubble the Flame is called a Podoboo.

  • @meemyself99 I know that. He was called Bubble after Mario Party 3.

  • At first, I used to suck at Limbo Dance, but I've gotten better at it. Tug O'War was still a tough one. Paddle Battle was OK for me. It was all about stealing coins. Hot Rope Jump I had a tough time with at first. I jumped on the first jump and I got hit by Bubble the Flame. But I've gottet better at it, too. And remember what we talked about in that Mini-Game on "Full of Danger."

  • Tug O' War wasn't that bad, but I never liked the fact that they play over a (special?) Piranha Plant. I mean, where do they go when they're eaten? That thing doesn't have a neck!

  • What? You mean one of Bowser's events? If so, that's not fair that the player (s) loses the coins that Bowser says that they will lose.

And anyway, in Mini-Game Island, the COM players were so tough, you had to pull with enough energy AND muscle before moving on to Teetering Towers.

  • cool drums yah go drums

  • I could imagine a jungle full of idols and lit up torches while listening to this rhythm.

  • I know a few places like that in video games...

  • Pretty sure I sucked at any minigame with this music. XD

  • I made decent effort with the MP1 version of Hot Rope Jump.
