  • Have I gone deaf?

  • some times people work for 20 and 30 years, but doing this in the wrong way

  • Partee63 you don't know what your talking aboout, skrimm binds plaster together whereas tape will just blow off in time.Done quite a few reskimes on tape that's blown off never on skrimm.Been in the trade 25 years so fuck you.

  • lash it on

  • why are you using easy tape you wanker?

  • I have a cat named Dillon :)

  • it.s only a small wall and ceiling . .

  • i have a cat named tiddels.

  • you call this a training centre? if you teach people to work a ceiling and a wall together you must twitch the join between the ceiling and wall and that is ruff as fxxk, scrim will show threw, brush marks in your plaster need i go on. anyone who knows anything about it will tell you that.

  • Every plasterer has there own way of plastering..

  • What's the point of plastering the whole ceiling? Why not just fill the joints and screw holes and paint?

  • This guy is good....really good.

  • 1 coater!!!!!!!!!

  • just ask one of these trainees to to do some browning and they wouldnt have a clue what your going on about .ive even seen these lads put the polybond in the plaster.

  • hope this is a trainee and not the teacher , ive heard about these 1 week training courses, the guys that go to these courses think they know it all, trust me if your young get a job as a plasters labourer for a plasterer with experiece ,cos they know everything .

  • looks a bit amateur. kneeding the stuff on the hawk like he's working up a bit of sand n cement or lime render, unnecessary but as long as it's finished well that's what counts!!

  • would this work to putty coat a textured wall?

  • Nice trowel work but sorry I have been in the building trade for 30 years and I would suggest not using mesh tape. Its easy to put on but use paper tape unless you want all your joins to crack out

  • @partee63 Paper joint tape vs scrim? You kidding? Even dryliners prefer scrim to paper.

  • @partee63 , you,ve not got a clue what your talking about ! you can use paper tape with plaster ! 30 yrs as what ? sweeping floors!

  • Great job, i wish i could plaster like you, I'd love to learn the art of plastering, have seen many fast track courses, but unfortunately as i'm unemployed cannot afford to go on them.

One day i will fullfill my dream to become a plasterer.

  • @

terry4144 totaly agree nothing gained twice as long

  • Google Plaster Perfection the site is a dedicated plastering site with vids and chat

  • whats the point of the strip of plaster round the edges? I have been plastering for 30 years and can't see what you would gain only taking longer they all seem to teach this on these training vids

  • falta un buen overol, zapatos de seguridad, lentes

  • hey dude what? happen to your hair

  • come on then stimonater show us how its done,

  • 3 coats usually over here .. not including paper taping . that stick on mesh would be the best , but I dunno if it should be used through out.

I have a room to do 3 walls skim cote & 1 Gib + plaster , the walls, under the current 3mm of plaster/paint , are the old lard and plaster - horrible shit !

  • That is how NOT to go about plastering ppl so take note!

  • ahhhh bless ,we all start somewhere ,where is your mask when wixing up ? my old boss has just died of lung disease i.e breathing in to much shit over the years

  • Hey have a look here PlasterPerfection looks like a useful site for us plasterers please get posting

  • This is a real training center?? Those joints would crack in a house. What a hack, teaching this crap as quality work.

  • I have been plastering for years on new buid sites & have my cscs nvq crap & have done more houses thn i can remember and what hes done on this video is sound as long as it paints ok wots the problem . Plasterers always slate each other . like kids lmao.

    nice job mate

  • do you sand that smooth?

  • plasterings a gift easy peazy lemon squeezy

  • wtf no paper tap in ceiling =cracks here in tas we only fill joins

  • i might do a plastering course, theres not a lot of construction work out there though,

  • 1mm thick....lol

  • in canada we use NO COAT CORNER

half the time TWICE AS STRONG

    and HARDLY ANY MUD

  • @singledad1234 ha ha yeah but ur all cunts though so whers the gain? WHERE IS FUCKIN CANADA ANYWAY?

  • I have actually did plastering, but I know I can do better than that! If you want to plug your product, at least use you r best student ... if that IS you best student, then ...

  • fair play your shit i don't see how you can teach people cause you need teaching yourself

  • Lets see some rendering videos any I can teach my dog how to skim!!!

  • mix is either too thick or ur arms ar toothpicks m8 id skim way better than that and ive not even finished my course

  • come on u cal your self a plasterer im a kid and i no u need to learn how to plaster coz my dads a builder and he can plaster if i showed him this it would prob be crap from ....

  • Call yourself a spread ? -

    Just watch this ?v=tAdteqjiMUw

  • Crap skimmer!

  • no 1 give the romanian cunt work give it to sum english spreads

  • mattep1ao if you're unable to get a job well .. this points directly to the fact that you lack profesinalism. so .. shut the fuck up and let others who can .. do your well paid job of which you're not capable

  • If this guy is a student I'm well impressed though I could teach him a few tricks, if he is the tutor then I aint so sure.

  • hello! i work in plastering5 years in romania, and i m searching a plaster job in london. can u help me ??? if u can call me at 07552392789

  • there is too manny british people unable to find work at the moment and can do without you foreigners taking all our jobs why dont you all go to america were not that big of a country you lot arnet wanted here at the moment times are hard

  • couldnt agree more

  • i used a plasterer with 25 years experience to do my kitchen....absolute shite. My mate does any plaster work for me now, he took one of the 8 day courses, he maybe slower but he does a great job. To anyone thinking of doing one, go for it, you'll either be able to do it or you won't. What have you got to lose?

  • You have hit the nail on the head You can either do it or you can't, more experience gives you speed. I still hold plasterers in high esteem though, it is a bloody hard job experienced or otherwise.

  • your good why didnt u use board finish

  • yes i do but you wont get it from some weeks shitty course ,you need to be a good plasterers labourer first ,all these cowboys thinking there plasterers after one week FUCK OFF from one pissed off plasterer of over 20 years

  • he looks a bit inexperienced perhaps he needs a few lessons in speed !!!

  • if you wear a glove on the tape hand you can pull it out way faster dude!!

  • Every c**t is full of good advice/bad comments but there seems to be a shortage of good plastering videos!!!....strange, don't you think???/

  • Totally agree mate, all the people who sit at home with no skills slaging other people off need to get the cams out and let us watch them plaster a full room!!!

  • I am not being funny or anything but i had a go and i had a pretty good idea what it was all about and it still nearly put me in f*****g hospital with stress!!!

  • looks like you got a nervous twitch mate give it up you fucking chancer

  • good job man. He's doing it perfectly correctly!

Some plasterers like to lay-on walls vertically and then others like horizontal. Does not matter which you prefer as long as you are consistent.

  • I'm 17, going to college to do a plasterin' course, then maybe a couple more years, dunno if it's a good idea I just heard it was a good trade. I see things like this, see the bad comments and think wow what a cunt. Someone gimme some advice about this college melarky or do I go straight into a job with trainin' from someone who's done it years??

  • ok yung man if you want to learn plastering tyy and get a start with somone who has been in the trade for a good few years thats the right way then you will be taught correctly

  • when you are working with mud, the only way to learn is practice, you cant watch and learn or be told how to do it, just practice and natural ability.

  • he ain't got a clue. Like pea soup, over board aswell, no experience whatsever.

  • the guy has plastered the wall and ceiling perfectly!!!...I would employ him tomorrow!!!.....By the way where is your video????....I am sure we would all love to see what you can do......or talk about!!!

  • Mr Ledzeplad, thanks for e-mail. You know jack. This guy is crap or is it you mmmm. Put it this way I have done more buckets than you've done sand castles. so cut the crap. The guy is crap and that's a fact.

  • if you could see what I can do you would probably go into a deep depression at the thought of how much you still have to learn, good luck, practice makes perfect.

  • I have conceded defeat!!... i will not attempt to take up the art any more!.....far too tricky.

  • hello. i work like a plaster in romania 5 years. i am in london, and i want to work here. can u help me??? if u can please call me at 07552392789

  • that mix a little too runny

  • it does help if theres soud

  • iv never seen anyone do there corners like that

i us the full face of my trowel. and dose anyone of you guys 2 coat ???

  • firstly....steps...nah stilts are the wat forward.....getting a customer to board out a room...where are u left...deep in the seventies i recon.....a good plasterer has band stands....yeah maybe..or scafolding....but stilts are the way forward...everyone has their own technique.....but 2 rooms in a day by yourself is just silly talk.......

as for one coat plaster, good for being a backing plaster and filling chaces..or site work ..hard work fo average finish..unless thro machine

  • how come plaster is brown in america?

and don't u guys have single coat plaster which you straighten out with a ruler firstN

  • no. thts only if you have a uneven wall or its a specification its easier to dot n dab with plaster board b cos the board is level anyway

  • oh,

    thanx for the info

  • don't take in too much from this video haha if you bend your arm round the way this guy does his bottom left hand corner you'll fuck your arm/wrist up big time given time!! anyone here do their corners like that? or double jointed?

  • youre a fucking bad plasterer mate, what firm u work for, needs closing down. amatuer, no wonder evryone things plasteres are cowboys with cunts like you !!! haha.

Ive been doing it ever since with proper nvq plasterers and i'm just about there with everything. I'd like to see craig do an outside render on his jack!! Those who can do those who can't teach. nuff said

  • good demonstration, slowly for the people learn somenthing

  • you would earn about £20 a day on site mate. you need to be gettin full rooms on includin ceilings twice a day and the safety goggles are a no no especially if your gonna get a sweat on

  • omg lets see you do a house in actual plasterwork.

y'all aint got shit on me

  • your not a real plasterer and if you are your not a good one!!!!

  • yeah ive never seen the edges done like that either

  • that's not plastering. That's drywalling. Plaster is different.

  • actually its skimming smart arse.

  • fill the scrim tapes in first. id like to see u on a big ceiling. take about a week!
