When I first bough it the game was slow and boring. Now I can't stop playing because I bough a new PC and the game is running extremely fast with ultra high graphics. I like this game
@RainfulPhenix Agreed. Funny story about that actually. This kid went flying with a buddy of mine. He played flight simulator non stop. He assured my friend that he knew how to start the engine. When my friend asked how, he gave the golden answer.
actually the twin engine plane in the comercial is a beachcraft baron 58. i guess i have been playing flight simulator for too long. i have only been playing off and on since fs98. i think i have over 2000 hours total on fs98 and 2004 and a few hours on fsx. most of my hours got erased when ever i uninstall fs2004. which sucks. i wish i could get them back somehow. cause i have flown alot of different aircraft on there. singles, multi's, choppers even the goodyear blimp a few times.

One question, what happened to the Cessna during one part of the storm? Was that the reflection of the lightning, or has Microsoft not fixed a texture problem? ;)
Another thing FSX has not (yet) taken into account is ground emergency dispatches; firetrucks, ambulances, police. Like the "Shared Skies" video, after the WT731 landed, the controller should have dispatched emergency services instead of allowing the Cessna for take off.
Further more, FSX has completely left out support for moving FS9 aircraft into FSX support. The filing system and modelling system has changed, which makes it impossible to transfer aircraft.
Rich details: No change. I don't know if it could be my video card (highly unlikely, latest top-end card around), but the textures, graphics and details have NOT improved.
What makes you say that FSX was rushed? They had a LONG time to finish it, it was Vista that was rushed. I personally think both Vista and FSX are good, I'm running both on a not-so-high-end machine right now.
naaa my pc is fucked and i cant play fsx anymore and it makes me saaaad :'(

More than half of flight simmers wont have a clue how to start up an engine manually.

The first thing you will notice is the extremely low frame rate, not the "rich detail".

Just wait until the DX10 patch comes out. If your graphics card is truly the latest and the best, it should have support for DX10.
