  • Does anybody know where this was filmed?

  • .. a wise man once said..nothing.. :) much luv

  • WTF?¿? What a dumb motherfucker. This is the first time I've heard of this movie and it looks fuckin pointless and stupid.

  • Joaquin in the River Phoenix.

  • new eminem

  • For me, the film shows how fame and fortune coming too soon at a tender young age, can convince the celebrity that this is just the way it is in life. Everything he/she touches is supposed to turn to gold. No problem. That's one of the messages I got from the movie. I applaud the effort to approach this film in a different way.....the creativity and commitment to the characters is A+.

  • Reminds me of Jim Morrison's film HWY. He also does this symbolic type of thing involving him in only pants and shoes as he goes swimming.

  • Girls want to see the Sexy Joaquin but he appears fat and lost...no Hot. I admire him for exposing that side. Good.

  • Es GENIALLLL!!!! la nada misma! GENIO GENIO GENIO

  • this is a movie?

  • so beautiful, like he's connected with River

  • @arizonaphoenix167 my thougths exactly ;D

  • To anyone who is confused, this is the End Scene from the film I'M STILL HERE, it's under the genre of Comedy / Dark Comedy.

I've only scene parts of the film, so I can't really say if it's funny or not.

  • is that really him??

  • tell me why i thought this nigga was gonna start rapping and shit out of no where wtf.

  • @krebscycle623 wait the credits said written and produced? wtf did the script say? "walk through water"

  • ahahahah you dumb fucks. This movie is funny as fuck, you guys are missing the point here. It's not a fucking drama, he just walked through water for 3 solid minutes, it's a god damn joke.

  • I'm so glad JP is still here.

  • people think they lied and said it was mockumentary just to cover up the fact that it was real...that shows how good a mockumentary it is.

  • They have come out and said it was a fake documentary, I believe them, but it was done so well and so believable. It's too bad it didn't get praised for the masterpiece it is, perfect acting and directing. The first time I watched it I was drunk and depressed and I felt so bad for Joaquin because I thought it was probably real.

Anyway not sure what you guys mean when you said you thought he was a dickhead? Also the ending was him supposed to be the mountain waterdrop.

  • makes me high this movie something about this guy that i like and dont get me wrong about that but he have always done what people expected from he never had a chance to be him self and now when he does is a dickhead but i think thats awesome he does not ask for people to like for what he are but just to be there like every body else

  • @ditlev44 do you know that it was all just a 3 year mocumentry trying to see how a person copes being famouse and after that he is normal again

  • preciosa cancion de Ludovico Einaudi, preciosa escena de Joaquin Phoenix, una grandisima actuacion durante toda la pelicula. Me encanta.

  • All anyone had to do to realize the whole movie's a hoax was look at the credits. Joaquin Pheonix's father played by Tim Affleck? Several other names as well. How did this movie's authenticity remain disputed for so long?

  • he's probably the greatest actor...artist of our time.

  • i'm amazed. that music, that Joaquin, that Phoenix.

  • It looks very therapeutic. Great closing scene, great music piece, great metaphor and very sad.

  • He's a mountaintop waterdrop. He doesn't belong in this river, but it's where he's closest to God... or something.

  • Comment removed

  • ohhh, he's walking through a 'River'....., and it reminds me of the swamp scene in "Stand By Me"........ so sad, and the music is beautiful...... x

  • this ending was so touching

  • dud i had to tell ya this movie rocks

my best movie of all time !!!!!!

  • This whole scene is brilliant. I love the music. Absolutely amazing.

  • Check out the balls on Joaquin. All Jesus like.

  • The end is closest to the beginning like edward james olmos said. That's what i think of this scene.

  • he's like jesus

  • I connected with Joaquin with such significance in this last scene, my heart seems to pain for him in such a way that is hard to put in words, This man has had such an impact on my life, and I don't want him to give up.. and no matter what others dont understand about Joaquin.. it's the fact that you have to look further.. ( just beautiful thank you for putting this up)

  • @leeses1973 I totally agree with all you said! This last scene is so beautiful and moving and reminds me why i love him so. You are just left speechless longing for him to find peace and happiness. Amazing film, hoping we don't have to wait to long to see him back on the big screen.

  • @leeses1973 me too

  • I just watched gladiator and I couldn't believe his amazing performance! He's simply an amazing actor.

  • I'm watching this thinking "Joaquin Phoenix is a real dickhead!" After I find out the truth I'm thinking "Joaquin Phoenix is a real genius!"

  • @patrickm62nov

He IS a real genius !!!!

  • was one amazing movie. it was hard to belive that it was all an act, I was sure that some parts were surely true. being sick after the performance etc.... how can that have been fake!?

  • @Crafter07 thank you soo much

  • Interesting thought. I saw it as Joaquin sinking slowly under the weight of fame, change, pressure etc.

  • @patrickm62nov

And under his own weight. :))

  • @patrickm62nov "sinking" is such a cliche of a metaphor.

  • I interpreted this scene as Joaquin's "baptism". The idea is that once he rises out of the water he becomes a new man.

  • can u please upload the part towards the end when he sings "i'm still here"??????

  • @redeigrezzi /watch?v=spRKkR8IjbI

  • This was an amazing moment in the movie!

  • @Crafter07

I agree. Part of me was undecided about JP and his journey but this sequence forgave all!

  • @Crafter07 Completely agree. Done so well.
