hahahah, wow, coincidentally I love both dystopia and eckhart tolle, and have these albums and this audiobook. But I hadn't listened to this song til now.
im a communist , for very general label's sake. but personally i don't see any difference in between how the u.s. acted and how the soviet union acted. they did things differently but equally brutally with crisp democracy and social values given to some groups like in east germany where same sex marriage was legalized in 1960.
well i had A BOY FRIEND THAT LISTENED TO LIL WAYNE AND well all that mainstream shit fucked with my heart went to partys never wanted to go to crust shows with me its sucks not to have sum one with ur save views wish there were people into crust were i stay at its hard to feel like i belong when theres no chicks or foos who get u lol im glad i didnt change for him and still listen to my crust :)
FIRST of all: I cannot believe I missed out on the fact that you had a "new album" in 2008...TWO, who cares if "Dino's Brain Cancer" was a BS prank (???) WHICH is ALSO a INCREDIBLE NEWS!!!!...All I know is that I am happy to listen AND hear some amazing new music from the Dystopia whom I hadn't expected to release a single nothing from for over 10 years now!!!...THANK YOU!!!! :) :) :)
oooo im hearing the triad that sabbath used to scare the shit out of people back 1969 glad to see its still being used to make people extremely uncomfortable
Shit thanks for the info. I have been searching for this. Unfortunately I dont have the vinyl of the new album. Damn shame because I love Dystopia!!! The band I was playing with played with them once. They were so tight!!!!
This album quickly became my favorite from Dystopia. This song and "My Meds Aren't Working" may be the two most depressing songs ever written, and for two totally different reasons.
And seriously, where the fuck is that sample at the beginning of this song from?
Not sure where it's from but the text is from Aaron Eckhart's book "the power of now" or something. It's probably him reading it actually since he often does spoken word / speeches or something. hes a teacher as well.
Fantastic lyrics presented amazingly with music!

The
old patterns of thought, emotion, behavior, reaction, and desire are acted out in endless
repeat performances, a script in your mind that gives you an identity of sorts but distorts or
covers up the reality of the Now. The mind then creates an obsession with the future as an
escape from the unsatisfactory present.
-Eckhart Tolle
THIS IS THE INTRO BY ECKHART TOLLE FROM HIS BOOK, THE POWER OF NOW. READ FROM BOTTOM UP B/C IT IS IN REVERSE ORDER.
Shadowspike0 1 year ago 3
Are you waiting for a man or woman to give meaning to your
life?
In the normal, mind-identified or unenlightened state of consciousness, the power and
infinite creative potential that lie concealed in the Now are completely obscured by
psychological time. Your life then loses its vibrancy, its freshness, its sense of wonder.
Shadowspike0 1 year ago
Is
fulfillment always just around the corner or confined to short-lived pleasures, such as sex,
food, drink, drugs, or thrills and excitement? Are you always focused on becoming,
achieving, and attaining, or alternatively chasing some new thrill or pleasure? Do you
believe that if you acquire more things you will become more fulfilled, good enough, or
psychologically complete?
Shadowspike0 1 year ago
This is a chilling example of how belief in a future heaven creates a present hell.
Can there be any doubt that psychological time is a serious and dangerous mental illness?
How does this mind pattern operate in your life? Are you always trying to get
somewhere other than where you are? Is most of your doing just a means to an end?
Shadowspike0 1 year ago
The end is an idea, a point in the mind-projected future,
when salvation in whatever form - happiness, fulfillment, equality, liberation, and so on - will
be attained. Not infrequently, the means of getting there are the enslavement, torture, and
murder of people in the present.
For example, it is estimated that as many as 5o million people were murdered to further
the cause of communism, to bring about a "better world" in Russia, China, and other
countries.
Shadowspike0 1 year ago 3
THE INSANITY OF PSYCHOLOGICAL TIME
You will not have any doubt that psychological time is a mental disease if you look at its
collective manifestations. They occur, for example, in the form of ideologies such as
communism, national socialism or any nationalism, or rigid religious belief systems, which
operate under the implicit assumption that the highest good lies in the future and that
therefore the end justifies the means.

the entire thing is not fuck life
they are trying to show the outright ignorance of the human species and how by its own suicidal greed we will annihilate ourselves
