Vary fond memories... my mom still lives there. I left in 1981. My great grandfather built many of the homes on west hill in the vicinity of Smith and Gunnison. Miss the old Anderson Backery on West hill, the diner across from the Murray, and the soda fountains along Jefferson. One of my friends was caretaker of Mr. Leopold. I have fond memories of crusing around Saturday nights in Crapo Park, down Main Street, and out on Roosevelt.

I was born there in 1944. Left there in 1962. Looks pretty much the same., a charming, beautiful river town of which I am very proud.
