When there is a high occurences of twins in the family as mention at 1 min its the woman that affect whether it is a single or multi pregancy, not the man. They may be non-identical twins, from different eggs. And potentially they could be different fathers. It doesn't often happen in humans but it is known occasionally, I think, as there is a delay of a day or two between fertilisation and embedding.
