This car is SO not worth what it cost too own. A 2001 hit the not recommended too repair limit at half the cars value faster then a dragster hits 60 mph.
@trich2g4 The higher end models will have higher maintenance costs than the lower end, A8 will cost more to maintain than an A4. All depends on the service history for each car too whether it'll be dependable or potential lemon. Word of advice though, stay away from CVT versions.
What cost in this case is the size of the engin which is also how much crap there is in the engine compartment. For example a change of clutch. On a 4,2T It takes 16 hours too take in and out the gearbox. On a 1,8T it takes 4 hours. The shop takes 100 euro in hour so you do the math. Service matters some but stuff will still break and when they do you are done with engines like the 2.7T. Watch out for cheap high preformance and airsuspension. If you afford expensive you afford repair.

AWD means power to all four wheels AT ALL TIMES, no switching. like a Subaru or hmm an Audi.
the point is that you've said that quattro is not 4x4..and then you said that 4x4 diffs can be locked manually........but you didn't know that there are plenty of quattro audis with manual diff lock ....so you've just admitted that quattro is 4x4
My father has a Audi A4 2.5 V6 TDI S-Line. Here in Holland there is for the first time in a lot years snow and everybody is having trouble with driving their cars but not my dad :P
first off i doubt thats your camero.. second if it was i doubt it has ever seen a single snowflake and no, no it could not handle the snow because by the looks of it it would have over 500 hp being a chevy and its rear wheel drive that combination equals standing still while your tires spin..

@trich2g4 Continuous Variable Transmission...they have issues and cost a lot to repair if they go bad. Stay with a manual or Tiptronic transmission.
