@ayumi14 Phoenix Pinions can be obtained but refining Phoenix Down into Mega Phoenix with Alexander's MedLvUp, then refining Mega Phoenix into Phoenix Pinion with Siren's ToolRF

Hah, that summon saved me a bunch of times. The great thing about phoenix is that is sometimes automatically revives your whole party when your last one dies ^^

I was fighting the King Tonberry...about 1hour i think. Very deadly and bloody battle it was. But...as it alwyas is...bosses have amazing moves...and Tonberry throw some machines on my characters. After one BLOODY hour he killed my heros...DAMN! I was...confused....and then....the fire show up...the wings of fire hurt the enemy and I managed to win in the end xD LOVE THIS GAME!!!! FOREVER!

Phoenix is the only reason I have Tonberry.

The little fucker kills my party with his knife, I was thinking "Great, now I have to spend another hour killing him AGAIN!"

2 seconds later REBIRTH FLAME pops up on my screen, I went o.o

and Phoenix is the one who killed Tonberry in the end by doing that for me, THX PHOENIX, YOU ROCK HARDCORE!!!!!!

I remember that the phoenix actuallly prevent me from game over ones.. i no ever party was 0 and the game keep going .. first WTF .. then the phoenix appear and i kill that shit with the last strike lion heart .. angel wing and lucky THE END xD.. since then i always active that if i got it!

@ShadowKiller6797 It's just an item called phoenix pinion, there are a few places you can find them, also you can get them through one of the cards (i believe it is the phoenix card), and if i remember right you can use med lvl up ability to make them.

when i was fighting edea in galbadia garden i used a phoenix pinion and i think it was a glitch cause i was losing the fight and every time she KO'd my last character phoenix would get cast again and revive my whole party, this happened about 3 times during that fight and ever since then its never happened again

@DragonSniper7 Might be a month late but Holy War cause the Invincibility status on the party, rendering them temporarily immune of any sort of damage. Hero can be stolen from Seifer, 10 Heros refine to 1 Holy War. The Gilgamesh card can be cardmod into 10 Holy Wars.

@EinlanzerHyuga theres one card that gets you 100 heroes besides the gilgamesh i got around the 2nd disc and that got me to beat ultimate weapon, omega weapon, and ultimecia

@shadowkolo Cheated? Not at all. Allow me to geek out for a sec...

The high level of health can be gotten by junctioning a powerful magic to HP-J and/or using HP bonuses/boosts, and all of those items can either be bought, refined or modded from cards. Now if there was something like 100 Holy Wars, 100 Phoenix Pinions, 100 Mega-Potions, etc. then it'd be a bit sus.

But I agree with you about cheating. Especially in Final Fantasy games... it really sucks the life out of the experience.

@Destino68 100 holy wars can easily be achieved by refining gilgamesh card and then winning it over again from cc card club at ragnarok(disc 4) to get more nerdy.....thou it will take time...too much time....WAY too much time....

If you have a phoenix wing in your inventory, you have a chance of auto-use and revival. :3

well iwovebunnys, phoenix is basically a random appearing GF, it appears rarely to help out the party.

you can't summon it... which is a shame (that's probably why you've never seen it before).

Yeah i did, i must admit i over-looked the phoenix pinion being used,

but when I played it I never even had a phoenix pinon and phoenix would occaisonally come out anyway, just randomly.

Yeah, there's a slim chance of phoenix auto-casting rebirth flame when all your characters have been defeated, its determined by the number of phoenix pinions you have in your inventory but if I remember right it maxes at 30-40% probability of success. And even then the possibility of successfully being resurrected is something different all together x3 Case in point, thinking you've been saved only for the pinion to miss all party members XD still does damage though
