Its really supposed to be a snap of your elbow that leads to your wrist snapping and all of that is power by your back hip driving forward. She's going to have a lot of shoulder injuries if she's still tensing up like that but this video is old so i hope not
i learned from the olympic player Amanda Freed( i took pitching lessons from her) it is better to go slow and smooth and you get your speed from the wrist snap so don't try to jerk or whip it. You are good

omg dont keep your shoulder tensed up like that.you wont get any speed and ur gonna develop shoulder injuries
