Need anymore evidence that the left is even more violent and hateful than the right? Occasionally the right has gone too far and mispoken on a few circumstances, but by and large, the hatred and violence in this country is overwhelmingly coming from the left like the Arizona shooting where an atheist liberal commited mass murder for his political ideology. The left needs to quit politicizing this shooting and start thinking about the victims, instead of pushing their own agenda.

I don't think it was a threat. I think the old fart was trying to say "how do you like it?" And I suspect he knew he would probably get away with it in the end. Maybe because I've been the victim of violent crime, I think such a bold statement is understandable. I also think it's a good idea to get him some counseling. He's probably still in shock.
