  • I need an off switch on my brain before i goooo insaaaane

  • wow. thats all that needs to be said.

  • omfg i love this band so much

  • @panicatthediscosuck - I hate you because of your name.

  • @The4RandomFreaks Panic at the disco want to be fall out boy, so in a way he is right

  • I love this song sooo much thanks to scuzz:D

  • @mjdking Aah same! scuzz introduces me to so many awesome bands :D

  • @Loves2LaughXD yeah it's not bad.. ;)

  • I love this song sooo much thanks to scuzz :D

  • i like this, his voice is good but i agree they don't need the nanana at the end. i suppose that'd be good for seeing them live

  • Never heard of these guys before, but have to admit it's nice not to here some whiny arsehole behind the mic, Good hardcore punk riffs and change up on the drums though i'd agree it could do without the nanananana bit towards the end.

  • Man this song would be so much better without the shitty "nananana" section in it. Fucking copout move. Aside from that, this song is suhweeeet.

  • @cadavertastic I agree although the riff behind that section is fucking brilliant, Just need to get rid of the 'nanana' vocals...

  • @cadavertastic they've done that on quite a few of their songs, not really a copout, just a part for the crowd to really go mental

  • @samisacoustic I dno man, I think I'd find it pretty patronising if I went to see a band and they'd carefully constructed special parts of the song for me to mushmouth back at them as if learning a catchy chorus with real words is beyond me/the audience. This isn't even the type of music I normally listen to so maybe it's a common thing with this kinda stuff? Either way I find it kinda detrimental to the song but w/e I'm not going to be the one going to see them live anyways.

  • i love this :D

  • love this tune

  • @EgyptianSpaceOddity The security guard at the door let me out that way early, so me and Tom had some escape time.

  • @EgyptianSpaceOddity Haha, I'll take that as a compliment. Thank you for not mugging me <3

  • @hybridharris That was hilarious. you and your mate protected it with your life!

  • @iSnDeeZy Mate, we where lucky to get it out of London without being mugged for it. The shit I was offered for it...

  • @hybridharris Mike just asked on twitter if you got home safe aha, he regrets not giving you a case.

  • so fucking good

  • Never heard of them before this track, or any of their previous bands for that matter, but this one stands on it's own as a fucking quality tune. One of the best melodies I've heard from a UK band in quite a while too. Nice one, hope you lads continue to do well as this is really a top track.

  • Been listening to these guys since bretton they are a fucking class act

  • Honestly I didn't like Bretton, but almost everything they've released since then (with the exception of Another Sad Song) has been dynamite, got a t-shirt and I've seen them twice, even met Mike! My favourite band, glad you're making it big lads.

  • great tunes to tattoo toooooooooooooo!

  • First heard and saw these guys last April, and been hooked ever since. I don't care if their new sound is different from their old sound, or even if they start using guitars made from cardboard with woollen strings...so long as Lower Than Atlantis are still making music, all is good.

  • THANKS GOD MIKE WENT ON ZANE LOWE!!!!!!!!

  • Heard this on Zane Lowe! Wow! AWESOME! = 1 new fan!

  • Listen to this cover of this cover - /watch?v=1du1fEJpO8M

    its fucking sick!

  • We just did an acoustic cover of this song, it'd be sweet if you could check it out :)

  • If the world was to end would I plummet or ascend or would I even know it had happened. I'd like to believe, destiny has a plan for me, but my mind won't allow the idea....

  • @GDJazz Bore me later you cunt

  • I'm sure you've taken time out from fucking the family pet to leave a comment so why don't you go stick your shrivelled little penis back in that hamster...

  • @GDJazz err you havent replied to anyone so that comment looks a bit odd on its own...

  • spose so errghhh....guess i pressed a wrong button somewhere! was a bit pist and meant to reply to some cheeky fecker trollin a harmless post above. ho hum. hope yer keeping well yersell.

  • I heard this song on kerrang and I found my self humming myself to sleep, that is how epic this song is and it means a lot to me

    0//////0

this song expresses how i feel ......

    IT'S AMAZIMING !!!!!

  • @Akatsukitammy heard it on Kerrang too :)

  • @11FruitCake11

did u listen to alex baker on kerrang last night......????

  • CHORUS

Have you ever felt like you're just waiting for your life to start? Seems the same from day to day, and everyday you're losing heart.

I want tommorow different. Something has to give. I need resucitation because I'm losing the will to live.

    CHORUS

Have you ever thought that maybe the Truman Show was real? I'm the leading role of my own show and all my secrets are being revealed. I need an offswitch on my brain before I go insane

    CHORUS

    CHORUS

    Best I can discern...

  • @panicatthediscosuck Correction: I want tomorrow different should say I want some motivation. :)

  • Swear at 1:47 the lyrics say "I need an ostrich on my brain" ...

  • @CityMinusHero i think its off switch

  • @CityMinusHero lol, off switch on my brain

  • @CityMinusHero Off switch :P

  • 13 people are deaf.

  • These guys are so under-rated, I they deserve to be so much bigger.

  • great song i loved the other Far Q and Bretton but the new stuff is just as good! loving this track keep it up guys from HERTs

  • I think all of their albums are really good for different reasons. Far Q was really refreshing at the time, it was angst-ridden punk with a hardcore edge, showing a real sense of melody. World Record was just above an beyond any record released in 2011 at the time, again something new and interesting with amazing lyrics.

  • I love this song so much, it's so funny how I've always said I don't like un-popular bands. This song, and their other songs have change my opinion on most styles of rock during the past couple of days....INSPIRATION

  • They better do this at there gig next week, omg it's amazing.

  • So much comparison, goddammit everyone at what point did comparing music EVER have a positive outcome.

  • oh come on, you can't say they're going downhill due to one song? and personally i think this song is brilliant so i don't know what anyone's problem is

  • I'm sad to say LTA are going downhill...

  • @panicatthediscosuck what you talking about? there going uphill!

  • @panicatthediscosuck You feeling alright?

  • THUMBS UP IF YOU HEARD THIS ON KERRANG RADIO!

  • Such an underrated band!! this song rocks

  • Enter Shikari bought me here, glad they did!:)!

  • STILL PLAYING THIS ON REPEAT!!

WHEN CAN I BUY IT FOR MY IPHONE??

  • LEGEND!!!!! Love this SH*T!!!!

  • I'm in love with the backing vocals, not just on this song, but most of their songs. They are incredible songwriters. It was a pleasure to see them when they came to the U.S. Honestly one of my favorite bands.

  • This is still so sick.

  • The production is really good , can't wait to see these guys get big and become legends they deserve everything!

  • Sounds like they brought a new vibe into their music again. I'm curious to hear the next full lenght

  • I've seen LTA twice so I thought there was no point buying tickets for their headline tour.....that was a stupid idea.

  • Hurry up and get to Newcastle!

  • Can't believe I'd never heard of this band until recently. Thanks Zane Lowe <33

  • Amazing stuff but it doesn't beat their material on Bretton and Far Q in my opinion. I preferred their heavier hardcore punk sound.

  • @DrownedInTheDepths Bretton is the worst album i have ever heard, the sound didn't suit them at all.

  • @newybold2in1 it was a different line up you do understand? It did suit them, just Far Q suited them MORE.

  • @newybold2in1 Bretton wasn't a bad album... it did sound a bit like gallows though.... (sorry mike)

  • @DrownedInTheDepths in my opinion, Bretton's pretty boring - it's just a hardcore-punk EP, but there's actually something special about their music now - it appeals to a much wider audience, as well as their old fans. LTA!

  • @DrownedInTheDepths sigh. Hipster musical mentality. This band is coming out with their next album, about time I said that I liked their old stuff better!

  • @DrownedInTheDepths Far Q was wank really though, wasn't it? They're a better band now writing better songs and they're gonna get massive writing this sort of music if it's this good from here on.

  • @kamikaze90watermelon Far Q is far from "wank", it's perfect.

  • @hybridharris if you like rough edged songs with lyrics written by adrian mole aged 19 then yes, it's perfect.

  • @kamikaze90watermelon It's a perfect mix of hardcore, rock and grunge. The lyrics are marmite but I personally love them, they shit all over Enter Shikari's anyway (and yes the lyrics of LTA and Enter Shikari both do the political British thing, only LTA do it well).

  • @hybridharris Up to the indidual to judge. Personally i LOVE shikari's lyrics.

  • @philHokai Hate the lyrics to Shikari so much. Just sounds like poorly informed politics rapped, screamed and sung to terrible standard.

  • @cunt.

  • @Quickman561 Haha, call me a cunt all you want. Went to see LTA last night and I got Mike's guitar. Jog on.

  • @hybridharris That's amazing!

  • @hybridharris What? he just throw it into the crowd and you catched it ? douche.

  • @Quickman561 No, he came down to the barrier and handed it to me.

  • @hybridharris was it his blue fender strat? or a different one

  • @PiGuyisaPiMan Different, Viper 300M if you fancy a google.

  • @philHokai Shikari's lyrics are ill informed armchair, actually quite offensively wrong bollocks. Lyrics on this and World Record were much better. Far Q's were godawful.

  • @kamikaze90watermelon You didn't like the lyrics on Far Q? That albums got some of my favourite lyrics ever on. Their genius

  • @MrClahn *they're

  • @hybridharris Enter Shikari's lyrics are NOT political, people don't seem to quite grasp this. They are advocating a world where politics are not existent, and they do it perfectly well too, very factual and informative for those knowing little about the topics that they discuss in their songs. Don't get me wrong, I think LTA's lyrics are damn good too, but they are very, very, different.

  • @Picturesofperfection Just sounds to me like they're going OIL IS BAD, AGH I HATE THE GOVERNMENT AND THE ENVIROMENT. All in the first bit of Gahndi Mate Gahndi. And even if it is advocating no politics it's:

    a) Still about politics, anti-political is still political.

    b) Fucking stupid.

  • @DrownedInTheDepths hipster

  • @Guitar123Colt For saying I like this song but I prefer heavier music? Ok man. Ok. Whatever you say.

  • @DrownedInTheDepths hip. store.

  • if zayne lowe wasn't doing the breakfast show on radio 1 i would never have heard of these guys! <3

  • Can I get lyrics somewhere? I just can't get through some lyrical parts =) Thanks

  • I reckon 25,000 views on here are mine

  • Fucken unreal!!!!!!!!

  • Song? Purely amazing... now you can see that in fact simply chords can make the song kick ass as well. LTA doesn't really need to make solo exhibitions in their records to be kick ass, they just can make it real - and that's the point! Bretton, Far Q, World Record - I don't really differ them, I like listening to them all at the same time. Each album has its own importance for me and reminds of my life's experiences! Thank you LTA for the song...

  • this is fucking amazing!!!

  • 11 people dislike?!?!!?!? you fucking idiots?

  • Wasn't sure about this when I first heard it, but it's definitely a grower! I'll be surprised if this band ever release a bad song.

  • help me!!!

    someone has the lyric?:(

  • Hey ho we all liked Bretton , But this stuff is sick , Shame THEY CANT SORT OUT THERE MERCH

  • @TheRavenHelix go to a show.

  • Tuneage!

  • This is going to sound fucking ace live.

  • 11 people dont like cowbells......those 11 people are pricks

  • Comment removed

  • am i going crazy or did i hear a cowbell in a drum fill somewhere?? epic :P

  • Can't wait for the new album after hearing this, absolutely brilliant!

  • it gets better and better each time you listen to it.

  • this must be like my millionth time listening to this.

  • Good song, but it just doesn't have the same feel to it.

  • i love the fast paced stuff from LTA, great stuff guys!

  • This is fucking perfect.

  • @peamush *record

  • @simsyboi111 does it matter? haha

  • @Peamush but you have to remember man this is just one song from a whole you gotta give em credit where credit's due, i have all thier stuff, the e.p, far q, world record there all different which is good change is important for a band to grow i mean look at the clash if they made the same sounding record 6 times they wouldnt be as important as they are today

  • immaculate!

  • fuck, can't wait until the 23rd to see them again. wow

  • and sort of force themselves to like it. Also I hope they don't abandon their fenders or they'll lose what they had for Far Q which was their distinctive sound, but instead they've gone for more heavy sounding guitars and now they sound like most other rock bands. Don’t hate me cause I’m sure I speak for loads of other LTA fans out there who feel the same way, that this isn’t anything special for LTA standards.

  • @Peamush I think they have changed from Fender. They're using Gibson and First Act now.

  • @lowerthanlewis yeah i thought so :)

  • @Peamush Don't get me wrong, the earlier LTA was brilliant as well, but I really would hate for them to stay the same across all their albums - It's good to differ and change across recordings or else you end up like AC/DC - start off with something brilliant but there's so much of it in the end that the interest just expires. I personally like the fact that though it mightn't feel like Far Q or World Record, it still feels like LTA. Also in the end it's just what the band enjoys that matters.

  • @steviewonder74CEA to be fair it is growing on me now haha :)

  • Right, I’m sorry but the way they bigged this up it's nothing like what they said it'd be. It just seems like they've just strung it together in about 20 minutes and not added much cool stuff or anything interesting in there :/ don't get me wrong, I like the song, it’s catchy and stuff, but it's just not as good as all the other stuff they've done. I'm a massive LTA fan as well so I’m not being biased, but the majority of LTA fans would say it's amazing just cause it's by their favourite band

  • 2:15 anyone else think of the breakdown at the end of "extra extra read all about it"?

  • yes 2012!

  • I think if you manage to top your last album, the world really will end.

  • i dont like this

  • absolutely INCREDIBLE!

    mike duce is so perf

    well all of them are

    ok

    yeah lol

  • If you search this song in the youtube search, it shows as having about 20,000 views :)

  • DropDead sent me here!

  • omg Im in love <3

  • Progression, fucking love it!

  • Awesomeness.

  • ... i love you...

  • Fantastic shout guys :)

  • This song is so appropriately titled to 2012.

  • im hooked to this band for life... or until the world ends.

  • Epic beyond belief

  • Drove to work this morning rockin' out to this on Radio 1 !!

Superb Guys and really looking forward to The Joiners later this month !!

    Big Thunbs Up

  • Like it guys, Well done.

  • was up to hear it first thing! and it got me through my first day back at school! THANKYOU LTA. cya at the garage!

  • so raw

  • The reason this has so little views is because Youtube only updates the view counts on videos twice a day. Please thumbs up so people see this!

  • @E7Horizon It also didn't appear in my sub box, so who knows how many others didn't know it was on youtube!

  • This band is constantly playing through my headphones, I think it is safe to say I am addicted.

  • best band lyrically I have ever heard, honestly don't know how mike does it

  • YD YESTERDAY, LTA TODAY. great start for 2012 in british music.

  • if i could ask this song to get into my bed, i would!

  • It's gutting that music as good as this has been around for years that never got noticed. Bands like Reuben and InMe's Daydream Anonymous album were great but 5 years too soon. Well done to bands like LTA for getting this stuff noticed. Best of luck to you. Do those still underground/deceased bands proud!

  • @kamikaze90watermelon i love inme! i have the white butterfly tattooed on my arm :P

  • @mushroomroundabout If Mike Duce wrote Daydream Anonymous, the media would be all over it. Alas, that's now how things work. Stonking album. Instead, Mike Duce writes this and it's just as good. And for that we should be thankful

  • @kamikaze90watermelon maybe, whos to say. Unfortantly the music business is all politics! like i like lta put then they toured with you me at SHITS! (sorry, six) bands like tht are everything tht is wrong with rock music these days!

  • cowbell at 01:34 is amazing.

  • Brilliant song guys, tour with IYUS, would be sick

  • Soz Foo Fighers haha :)

  • Comment removed

  • I absolutley love this I heard it on the radio this morning and like "I NEED TO HEAR THIS AGAIN" it was stuck in my head all day and I love it!!!

  • anyone get the feeling mike duce is god?

  • FUCKING AWESOME. Can't wait to see you guys, would love for my band to support you if you gigged locally... haha :D

  • awesome can't wait to see these guys again later this month :D

  • 1810 views so far! Absolutely brilliant work! X

  • Spiffing.
