  • master was a greyhound from waterford .he won 3 waterloo cups in england. he was the runt of the litter only 63 pounds full grown very scrawny for a coursing dog which typically are 80 to 90 pounds.as legend has it the chap of the house was sent to drown master mc grath as a pup ,but instead he hid him and took care of him and the rest they say is history.if ever in the town of dungarvin they have a statue in his honor
