If they were those same soldiers, then they weren't the True Sith that Revan, you claim, received his mask from. Also, I presume their armour (and mask/helmet) design is based from Revan's, if anyone's in specific, although it still all looks rather Mandolorian to me (now that is my own opinion, and am happy to admit I'm wrong with that). Either way, it never actually shows the True Sith (though it shows Revan and Malek approaching them?), or the origins of Revan's mask.

As it happens, I had indeed already seen it, and if you're referring to the image shown at around 0.40 seconds into the video (please, correct me if I'm wrong), then I always assumed they were the Sith soldiers that we fight in KotOR.

Yes, a fan-based site, but backed fully by a 100% fully, legitimate, canon, source, albeit from a comic (doesn't make it any less official in the slightest).

Yes, I'll admit (I never denied it) that all these Sith from the two trailers, and other sources, have been shown wearing this mask, but the argument was about where Revan obtained his mask from.

You've stated your sources, but the least you could do is post a link to share it with us dim-witted sub-humans.

Did you even check the source? It's not from the game - it's from a, canon, comic strip story focusing on the (almost) extinction of the Cathar race by the Mandolorians, and then the Jedi's (led by Revan and Malek) time on the planet, where the mask is discovered.

Secondly, though I'll be the first to admit that Wookieepedia (my source, which also cites its own sources) is just as easily able to be "loaded" with errors as Wikipedia, the fact that it's created/edited by Star Wars fans and they show evidence (which you've yet to provide), I'd take their word over yours any day... Or at least until you can sway me over with this hidden evidence of your own...

Though you can usually tell some things about some people from what they wear/ride/attack with (still thinking KotOR, blue lightsabers represent Jedi Guardians), it's not always definite, and, for instance, not all smugglers have a Milennium Falcon.

I didn't know for certain, but I was pretty sure he didn't get it from the "original dark lord", as his "meetings"/discovery of any (True) Sith during the Mandolorian Wars or before the Jedi Civil War have never actually been explored, so we don't know anything about his experience with those Sith.

Anyway, I wasn't 100% certain, so I did a Wookieepedia search and found this page.

I always just put it down to when Revan (and Malak, I guess) first met these "True Sith", he chose to adopt their "fashion style", which would mean that Revan copied these Sith, and not the other way around.

Possibly, but, I believe, the canocal ending of KotOR was that Revan was redeemed and followed the "good ending", so that might not be the case.

It could just be a traditional iconic/symbolic mask of Sith and used to represent fear - though I would definitely accept/believe that the masks in this era are influenced by Revan's own.
