i don't mind that they don't show the cards.. but it would be cool to mix it up...

show one or two players cards - so you can decide if you would play the cards the same way as a "pro" would do. show all the cards so you can really have a look at the decision making.

i donno how antonio thinks that was a bad call with the 89.. 70k in the pot, 20k to call.. and the dude has 50k behind... hes obv never bluffing in that spot... and most likely calling every river allin.. so add the implied odds 50+70 = 120k giving him 6:1 odds to call and 4:1 odds to hit = good call.. what do you think?

For all the dummies here, you cant show hole cards when you broadcast live. This was broadcasted live with a 30?min delay. Even with the delay a lot of guys at the wsop had people watch the live show who provided them the information of the cards.

Just watch the edited show which started last week at espn if you want to see the hole cards.

The 20k call with the draw was correct because his calling 20k to win 70k + the implied odds of over 30k so his calling 20k to win over 100k giving him odds of better than 5 to 1 witch means he has to hit his hand only at least about 16.5% of the time and he does with the open ended straight draw witch hits over 18% of the time.

20,000 bet was not enough to take away a 70+ pot, Kelopuro has far too much fold equity within his stack. Correct call against a stack who is pot commited after the flop.

@MarchOfTheBeatnick on the turn to call 20k into a 70k pot u need to be getting 3.5-1 odds. for a straight draw he had 8 outs which is less than 20% so worse than 5-1 odds. The pot odds were not right for a call

calling is good if the fish calls 60% of the time on the river. Seems more than reasonable.

@trinnn2 no I didn't .. the reason being that would still make it wrong to call. People say sometimes its maths to call a hand but this is not one of those times as he was never going to hit unless he got very lucky

i don't get how you all find it boring just because there's no card cam. if anything, it should give you a better sense as to how the pros play without knowing who has the better hand from the get go. i honestly find it more useful than "boring"

@aaronh250 Its not as good as old format. I like to see a sampling of how EVERYONE is playing -esp major pots. Being live, they're ONLY showing 2 'feature' tables, we don't get to see fun stuff so far (I haven't watched everything, but I sure hope that they will show highlights (action, antics, argument, etc of other tables. There are other good players/huge plays going on. Why focus on these 20 boring, quiet, very serious players when so much else is going on, want 2 see kamikazies too.
