I also like Blackploitation (Shaft, Cleopatra Jones, etc) & a few Sexploitation (Sheela, Shewolf of the SS, etc) Cheap horror is cool too (Cannibal Holocaust/Jungle, Most movies with "Devil" in the title, etc. Hammer Films/Productions, from the UK made cool movies too. Definitely can't forget Kung Fu flicks either! late 60's- late 70's was considered the "New Hollywood" era. Lotta cool movies, that were also "grittier", nastier, meaner, etc, than previous eras.

I gotta say, I went into this expecting corn (Ferlin Husky, y'know?) but got kinda charmed. Simone Griffith is a real cute early 70's girl and the part about thinking her Dad was black was kinda touching. I woulda been happy seening this at an Alabama drive-in in the early 70's...it's better than your average drive-in swamp movie. The trailer has been edited well for maximum drive-in trailer shock value!
